The accommodation was great all.facilities right on the lakeside watching the paddle boats coming and going really some thing else. The Chinese family were exceptional hosts and I even learned some Chinese words. The housekeeper Yanny I think.her name made.sure my room was stocked and in excellent order. They really went out their way to make me welcome. The location was one of the best on lake lucerne. I was impressed by their hospitality.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The house was perfect for our family trip — clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. The panoramic view over Lake Lucerne was simply breathtaking, especially at sunrise and sunset. The location was peaceful and made our stay unforgettable. The location was just stunning 😍 set between the mountains and the blue waters,the hotel sure makes for one serene setting. The hotel staff was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and well-mannered, special mention for Alex who made us feel special by going above and beyond to make our stay special. The wellness area and the surrounding area are amazing for relaxing, hiking, or just lazying around under the sun. We highly highly recommend the stay, especially for couples. We would love to go back sometime!

I cannot find any negative aspects of the stay here. I appreciated the easy access with public transportation to the next small village (4 km) to have a pizza. And came back on the bus as well. 508 bus.

It gives the real feeling of a Swiss village , the cleanliness, the bus services , they have a tourist centre to help, the lake itself is biggest attraction, local people are very friendly and helpful

A lovely place, if a little quiet when we were there, access to the mountains and to the link.. Well worth a visit and you must go to the top of the mountain the village sits at the bottom of and onto the lake that borders the village

This is a great hotel to get away from the hubbub of...

This is a great hotel to get away from the hubbub of everyday life. Excellent views, choice of walks, close to the cog train to Mt Rigi as well as the ferry service. Ronnie and Bruno, both of whom run the in-house restaurant, are friendly, charming and entertaining. Both speak English well. Fully recommended.

The receptionist Joana was excellent and thoroughly pleasant. She was efficient and helpful. Lucas too was friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated on Lake Lucerne. I stayed at the hotel with my parents when I was 9 years old in 1968. The hotel has a perfect setting. The lake and the surrounding mountains are stunning. Our room had a lake view and was comfortable. We had a large balcony with a lake view. Breakfast was excellent. Eating breakfast on the lakeside terrace was a most pleasant start to the day.

Amazing setting on mountain top, views spectacular from the outdoor terrace, where you can have dinner and breakfast, both great. A memorable experience to be staying up high, if you want to try something different from a hotel in a town etc. It is easily reached by either of two cable cars, and once you are up there are great walks to explore Mt Rigi. Most of all, the hosts were really welcoming and helpful.

The view!! Omg the view was amazing. The room was clean and tidy. The beds are great! Never slept better. The breakfast was great with fresh fruits, the best cheeses, yoghurt, boiled eggs and bread. The location is great just outside the village centre. You can walk to the centre in 15/20 min. And there starts a hiking trail just outside the hotel. Gersau is beautiful.

Good clean room, pleasant atmosphere around the hotel, good breakfast polite staff. Lake view room very much worth the money. Gersau is quiet to stay but the regular buses and ferries to other towns and cities is ideal
