The hotel is located in the quiet charming village of Emmetten. Our room was large, quiet & dark at night and light & bright by day. The bed was very comfortable ensuring we had great sleep. The decor is clean & neat. We had a good view of the mountain from our window. Reception staff were friendly & check in & out was efficient. We enjoyed a nice three course meal in the restaurant and a walk up through the village to take in the views of the sun setting over the lake. This hotel is within a two minute walk to a cable car & the village grocery shop.

The apartment was very well equipped. We have stayed in many places in the past, but we have never seen any kitchen more equipped than here! Wonderful balcony view to the lake below. Very convenient location. Easy check-in, checkout. Parking outside the property very convenient. Excellent and very fast communication. And thank you for the bottle of wine, chocolate box and the salt presents. We had a very comfortable stay and we definitely would be coming back.

Beautiful location with a wonderful view. Everyone was very friendly and above all nice, the room and the whole interior of the hotel very well taken care of down to the smallest detail, the room was very clean and smelled delicious. The breakfast was a la carte, and very quick. The surprise call when we were boarding the ferry to inform of the complimentary pick up was wonderful, (I'd somehow missed this option). The walk up through the forest behind the hotel was lovely. Most importantly the room, hotel and spa facilities were incredible.

very beautiful location, the windows offer a crazy view of the lake, the interior of the hotel consists of expensive materials, very pleasant smells of soap, shampoo, shower gel, lotion, rubber slippers are issued that will not turn into garbage after one use. very kind staff. there was a mountain top with gondola ride to get to top, but it was closed from march'25 to may'25 (I think due to refurbishment - all notices were in german). there is a nice grocery shop only a few mins walk away - with pretty generous timings

A little village up to the hill - a very good location for those who prefer silence and being accommodated close to the nature. I would not recommend this location to those who need pubs and parties as there is nothing like that :-)

The place has so much to offer.

The place has so much to offer. A real laid back place to unwind and relax. We took the cable car to the Stockhutte top and then a trek to Klewenalp was amazing. We saw the paragliders launching from the top and the view was amazing. We took the cable car down from Klewenalp to Beckenried andf then a bus back to Emmeten. This whole trip is covered in a single ticket and well worth it. One may look at doing it in the reverse, since there is continuous climb from Stockhutte to Klewenalp. One saw hardly anyone going the same way as us, but lots of people (some with kids in strollers!) coming the opposite way. Something to think about. An amazing experience all the same.

Stunning location that really takes your breath away.

Stunning location that really takes your breath away. Beautiful restaurant with views across the lake. Lovely grounds. Left us feeling we’d like to go back and explore the area more. But it was expensive for the rooms we had.

There is not much to do in Emmetten except hiking up the...

There is not much to do in Emmetten except hiking up the mountain then taking the cable car down - something one could do anywhere. It is however, cheaper than other places. In hindsight, I would have stayed on beautiful towns on the lake east of Emmetten.

It has a big living and dining room. View of the lake from the balcony is excellent. Host Pietro is very friendly and extremely helpful when he provided a jumpstart battery to revive my car's flat battery. He even allowed me to borrow the battery pack after my check-out and return it to him at the end of my Switzerland trip.

We had a great stay at Elfe Apartments. The owners were very friendly and gave us some information about what we could do in the area. The apartment is situated in a small and quiet village. It was very clean and cozy and we had a beautiful view of the lake. It was only a 30 minute drive to the Engelberg ski area.

For the price we paid, we got a good clean hotel room with facilities to have breakfast, swim in the pool, use the steam sauna. Breakfast was better than expected and the view was stunning. Very professional staff. There were enough parking space, even the parking space had a beautiful view.
