We reach hotel about 10am, the staff was very friendly and good they try to let us early check in after we had 16h long flight to Lugano. And the breakfast is good have many choices. Great location just beside the station. Definitely will book again if I go travel again. I will know this hotel because is recommended by my parents they also stay here on last year and recommend us.

It‘s very good maintained. Very good quality. Local products. Location perfect, view even better. Very generous breakfast. Diner also amazing with a lot of product from the garden, that’s on the property. Amazing swimming pool area with the view on the Viniard. I loved it.

This hotel exceeded all our expectations. Nowhere have we met such friendly staff - two brothers and father Besomi, who also own the restaurant next to the hotel. We highly recommend it to everyone and will definitely come back again. Good local breakfast, nicely furnished rooms, very comfortable beds, parking, prts friendly, help in solving problems and recommendations for visiting the sureounding. They all speak excellent Italian, German and English. The family restaurant was the best culinary experience in the italian part of Switzerland for us so far. Thank you

Correct the hotel location in booking to not show that it is 150 from the center while searching in Lugano area. The hotel location is at the top of the mountain, it tooks more the 25 minutes to reach the hotel up or to go down to the city… nothin around the hotel, no centro, no restaurant… the hotel is in the middle of nowhere

Cademario is half hour from Lugano and its lake.

Cademario is half hour from Lugano and its lake. The last part of drive to the hotel may be intense, in particular if driving a manual transmission car, due to the windings and tight turns of a road going 500 meters up in about 15 minutes. Lugano and nearby villages are worth visiting - for example, Gandria, a small village on the lakeside, 15 minutes from Lugano, almost invisible from the main road due to its location on an abrupt lakeshore. Also, Locarno, Ascona, and Valle Verzasca are worth spending an hour driving north. In particular, Ascona is a great place for dinner, where you can choose from a dozen restaurants along a wide pedestrian street on the side of the lake. Valle Verzasca offers parking areas almost each kilometer due to its beautiful views - in particular Ponte dei Salti (pedestrian medieval bridge) and Cascata La Froda (narrow but spectacular waterfall). Small stores along the road offer 10 Swiss Francs parking passes for most of the parking spots (marked "green parking") all the way to the end of the road in Sonogno.

Cadê Mário is the ideal 10/10 spot for anyone planning a hiking weekend or week in the surrounding mountains of Lugano which are extraordinary. If you are planning a business trip with appointments in the Center of town, it is not ideal. The location is on the mountain peak. One must pre order a taxi for pick up and the taxi fair is in the range of 70 SFR each way. The bus is complicated. There was not hot tub. At least I didn’t see one.. to clarify and misunderstanding- it is NOT a spa. There was no masseurs or aestheticians available. the surroundings and nature were extraordinary and spectacular.

This is a lovely spa hotel on the hill near lugano. I loved the location. The service is excellent at all stations in the hotel specially the reception. Breakfast / Dinner at the restaurant was spectacular service. The quality of breakfast could be better to include eggs. The dinner was superb. I would strongly reccomend this hotel & spa

Great location, excellent restaurant and food (and adequately priced food), but overall too expensive. Too crowded, all nights were fully booked, queues for the restaurant, we saw people take their breakfast in the lobby. Way too man people at breakfast buffet and just one coffee maker. Spa and pool area equally overcrowded, need to reserve a lounger early otherwise no chance to even sit down.

The view on the lake from the hotel is amazing. The hotel is extremely dog friendly our furry family member felt very comfortable. The restaurant staff is very nice and helpful. We enjoyed a romantic dinner with our dog on the lake view terrace. Hiking around in the area was beautiful.

Lovely hotel run by a family with amazing views on lake Lugano. Beautiful setting and lovely swimming pool. Possible to have breakfast outside or inside both with amazing views. Very nice friendly owners who gave us nice tips to explore the surroundings. About 15-20 min drive from Lugano.
