The best thing about the hotel is its location right in the middle of the alps in Bernina with vast spread of deep snow all around even in end May. The bernina trains from Tirano to St Moritz take you there. We booked apartment which had 3 bedrooms and a hall. Centrally heated. We used Sauna facility. Pick up and drop was provided from Diavolezza station, although it would be fun and adventurous to walk from Ospizio to hotel, but we had luggage and little kids. Breakfast was good but limited. Check in check out were smooth. Absolute value for money.

This hotel is an absolute gem. The rooms and common areas are absolutely spotless, the beds are super comfortable, and compared with other places we looked at it was extremely well priced. The included breakfast was excellent. The hosts were lovely and welcoming, and I really hope we will return one day.

The most perfect hotel in every way! The staff were so warm and friendly when we arrived, and every staff member we encountered during our short break were friendly and attentive. The room was spacious, beautifully clean and had the most incredible view of the mountains and the hotel facilities were exceptional. We ate at the trattoria and the home made pasta was so delicious. Our only problem was we didn’t stay for longer! We can’t wait to return.

The problem with the hotel is that in winter there is no way to go from the nearest station. And if someone does not have a mobile phone, they will die of cold and will not be able to reach the hotel. If you call the hotel, they will tell you to go 2 stations ahead. Then the hotel will take you, but before 6 pm.
