The staff were all extremely welcoming and quite simply, lovely. My daughter of 4, who doesn't speak a word of German, said one of the waitresses/hosts was now her 'best friend,' and she was sad to leave. Really absolute A+ service throughout, always a smile. The breakfast was terrific as well. Delicious cappuccino and a broad selection of everything. Bread, croissants (laugen, even!), yoghurt, pastries and cake. My daughter went to the buffet four times; we've never seen her enjoy breakfast as much as here. Oh, and the fresh orange juice was delicious, too.

Where do I begin?? 🥰🧿 The two partners - Connie & Gosia are the most warm, beautiful, charming and generous hostesses. The hotel itself is so special with spacious bedrooms with some having gorgeous lake side views. I highly recommend staying in-house for dinner to enjoy Chef Gosia’s DIVINE 3-course meal. She made a special vegetarian meal for us which is the BEST vegetarian food we’ve had in Switzerland. Chef Gosia also made special arrangements for our breakfast which was all so beautifully presented. Roger who works in the restaurant was so kind and professional as was the lovely young lady who took care of us as breakfast. Thank you so much for the most incredible stay - we will return for a longer stay in the summer 🙏🏽♥️

Excelent breakfast and convenient private parking. Our room and bathroom were spacious, very clean, the bed was large, and the balcony had a beautiful view of the lake and mountains! We had fun using the pool table, and the on-site restaurant serves delicious food, although it is slightly pricey.

A very pleasant and peaceful atmosphere, very nice and welcoming staff, extremely helpful and friendly. The absolute highlight, however, was the location and the unforgettable view of the lake and the surrounding hills! Wonderful staff at Waldhotel, especially those in the restaurant are very attentive to our needs and requests. Excellent food at Verbena restaurant, both in terms of quality, taste and presentation. It started to snow the day we arrived. The Burgenstock turned into a winter wonderland with spectacular views. Great spa. It was a treat to appreciate the snow falling while enjoying the hot outdoor pool:-) Free tickets for the furnicular and boat to Lucerne was a plus.

We stop off in Beckenreid for coffee, enroute to and from...

We stop off in Beckenreid for coffee, enroute to and from Italy. But recently a stop off to be close to the St Gotthard tunnel, as its busy especially in the summer. Beckenreid has multiple facilities, coffee shops, supermarkets, petrol station and ferry stops, going to Lucerne and directly across the lake. It is just off the motorway.

This small and tranquil village at the lake is an ideal stop when travelling by car. It offers wondeful views of the lake and the mountains and some really nice hotels and restaurants that exceeded our expectations. Lots of sights and possible activities within a 30 minute drive from here.

We loved and enojoyed staying at this hotal.

We loved and enojoyed staying at this hotal. The lake and mountain view is just so bueatiful. The breakfast is exellent. Many variety food and drinks to choose. We enojoyed eating breakfast on the patio with the view of Lake of Luzane and the Mountain every monring. The access to the Hotel is easy. The bus station is right in front of the hotel. the front desk has bus schedule to let you know when next one is coming. It takes 15 min bus to the train station, then take anther 15 min train to the city of Luzane. Or you can walk for 5 min to the Ferry station from the Hotel and ride boat to the City of Luzane. The transpotation in Switzland is so easy and conveniently to use.

We stayed at Boutique Hotel Schlussel for one night on our way to Italy. Conny gave us a very warm welcome and was a fabulous host throughout our stay. She kindly upgraded our room from which we had a lovely view of the lake (including from the bath!).The room was very comfortable. We had a first class dining experience - Gosia is an excellent chef! Breakfast was fabulous too with a lot to choose from and very fresh produce. It was a fabulous start to our trip thanks to the lovely hosts.

The location is amazing and the staff and service was impeccable. Ski on and Ski off was so easy. For a small fee the hotel can bring you and/or your luggage from the cable car to the hotel by snow mobile which the kids really loved. Breakfast in the morning and dinner in the evening at the hotel was just perfect. We can't wait to go back again. My little son said it was the best weekend package and skiing he has had.

The house is beautiful, facing Lake Lucerne, and it is very comfortable to look at the calm lake! The house was very clean, except that there were not enough cooking equipments in the kitchen. However, the owner, Marie was very responsive and helpful, she brought everything that we need the next day.

Location. Fabulous views across the Lake from our room. Very nice garden by the Lake where drinks were served. Nice Terrace for meals and drinks. Attentive and efficient staff. Good buffet breakfast with tables on the terrace. Very relaxed feel to the hotel.

Lovely room overlooking the lake and extremely peaceful (couldn't see or hear the motorway at all, even though it was so close). Enjoyed being able to swim in the lake from the hotel. Had a lovely meal on the spacious outdoor restaurant
