The place is extremely clean and inviting, perfect for a couple or two friends like us. It has a Scandinavian modern feel to the room and is clearly well maintained by the owners. Key points: - The shower was a dream: there is a little curtain when you're showering that covers half the window and no one comes around that way so we weren't worried. - There's a hammock out the front that I spent a bit of time in, yoga mat, coffee, fridge, etc. - Plenty of wardrobe space. - The WiFi was great and the location was close to the beach and walks, plus 30-40 mins to Tofino. - Standard price for the area, maybe slightly cheaper so definitely worth it. - The hosts were great with communication. I would recommend staying here!

White Haus is a great property. We found it to be very clean, well equipped, comfortable, spacious for three people, and great value for the price. It made an excellent home-like base for our visit to Ucluelet. Highly recommended!

This is a beautiful apartment, bigger than the photos suggest, and plenty of space for two couples. We especially liked the views and how quiet the building is. We hope to be back. Location is excellent for walking in town.

The town is quaint and a bit sleepy at this time of year (after Labour Day) but the natural surroundings are stunning and exceed expectations. The beaches we saw and the trails we hiked were magnificent. A few restaurants were not open for dinner at this time of year so a bit challenging to eat at times but there’s a co-op in town (grocery store) and a pizza place which was excellent. Easy to navigate in the town; driving distance to Tofino also.

Ucluelet is a beautiful town on the Pacific Ocean on...

Ucluelet is a beautiful town on the Pacific Ocean on Vancouver Island. There are beaches close by (the water is pretty cold, though) and many places to hike. We found that Ucluelet is much less touristy than Tofino. So if you like the touristy stuff, Tofino may be a better place for you. The whole area is surrounded by natural beauty.

Great wilderness areas and plenty of walking trails to do, the wild pacific and lighthouse loop is recommended. Lots of eating options and the Uccy brewery was excellent. A very rugged / dramatic coastline.

Ucluelet if a fine example of a small fishing town that has reinvented itself over a number of years. There is a very young vibe there due to young families moving in and outdoor sports like surfing being the main attractions for same.

Our hotel was within walking distance of the town centre.

Our hotel was within walking distance of the town centre. We ate at the hotel and the hotel pub and at an excellent local restaurant called Frankie's. It is easy to walk and drive around the village. Activities include touring of Pacific Rim National Park, hiking, surfing, and many other activities. It is a great area for people of all ages who are active and like the outdoors.

so many beaches and wild coastline to explore! We only stayed one night but made the most of it by seeing the town, checking out the Foggy Bean for great coffee and doing some big beach hikes around the Lighthouse. But could’ve done with 1 more night to see a few more spots.

Clean room. More spacious than most motels. No stovetop, but had counter top space above the fridge to prepare cold meals and a table and chairs for eating. Recently renovated, nice smart TV. Shower had acceptable (though not amazing) water pressure, and had a telephone style shower head which you can hold in your hand, which was nice. Location is good, short walk to many restaurants, to a laundromat and to the harbour and aquarium. Price was better than most of the other accommodations in Ucluelet on the days we stayed.

The owners (Teo and George) are incredible hosts. They go above and beyond what a typical chain hotel/motel provides and it makes one feel at home. Good location. The bed is incredibly comfy and the room has everything a person or family would need. If we ever go to Ucluelet again, this is the place we would want to stay at !!! Bravo - good to see the smaller operators in the accommodation business outperform the bigger chains.

The room we had booked was absolutely fine. It's a motel so it was rather no-frills but we didn't expect a five star hotel either. Some people comment on the view - what we thought was better was going out and sitting at the marina. We were able to see some otters doing their thing. We didn't use the pool or the fitness place so we can't comment on that.
