I liked the location. Close to Lake Erie as well as town. Many food options within a 5 min drive. Check in was very fast and straightforward. Room and bathroom was clean. Enjoyed the view of nature out the window. Came with all basic amenities including microwave and small fridge. Free wifi is definitely a bonus and was fast enough to stream videos. Beds were quite comfy.

The young man at the front desk was courteous and upgraded and moved our room because there was a hockey team staying in the hotel and guests had complained of the noise. However, we still had kids running and screaming in our hallway in a separate part of the hotel. When we called the front desk, the young man handled the problem which we greatly appreciated.v

The Culverdene is a beautiful old house in a garden setting. The hosts were very friendly. An excellent variety of choices for breakfast and ours was delicious. The house is close to Port Dover and the town of Simcoe. We would absolutely return.

We loved the staff with how friendly they are, loved the pool and area, location was great.
