We arrived at 10.00am and were leaving on a flight home late that night, we only needed the room for a day stay, we had checked a hotel at the airport and their day stay was only 8 hours which didn't suit. River Rock Casino said they would try and get us in a room if available when we arrived. They absolutely catered to what we needed, our room was available on arrival. We couldn't fault any aspect of our stay there.

MY ROOM WAS SUPER GREAT, I had a microwave to warm my bought in food, room has a small fridge that kept my edibles fresh, the room was airconditioned and kept me warm, the bathroom was great too, very clean towels , smelt fresh, had a coffee maker , had a great view. the airport shuttle was always on time and the drivers were great people, hotel is so close to the YVR, staff are welcoming

I did not spend much time in Richmond this trip, as I came in to see the Lene Lovich show at the Rickshaw theatre in Vancouver. I am however familiar with, and drawn to Richmond, particularly for it's diversity in both people and entertainment options.

Richmond is a very beautiful city.

Richmond is a very beautiful city. It is very clean, and the natives are extremely helpful and friendly. The Public Transportation system is very comprehensive and very easy to navigate. {Elvin and Kitty August 2025}

Very expensive. Especially the restaurants. Area was ok.

Very expensive. Especially the restaurants. Area was ok. It was a reasonable ride to Vancouver, not far from the airport. We felt safe in the area where Sandman is. We used Uber to get to the cruise and the hotel shuttle fir the airport. I was surprised they didn't have a shuttle for the cruise ships even if they charged.

Wonderful area. Clean, beautiful. Close to Steveston Waterfront. You do need a car, but there are so many excellent restaurants and things to do. We enjoyed walking along the waterfront, and the Britannia Shipyards was a must see.

I enjoyed being in Richmond, nice quiet area traffic wasn’t too bad, if I were to ever go back I would definitely stay in the same hotel, I enjoyed visiting people from all walks of life and amazed to hear where they arrived from and where they’re travelling to, I was fascinated with one traveller when he said he was going on an Alaskan cruise!

This is a fabulous guest house to stay . It’s about 30 minutes from downtown Vancouver and within east reach . I have never had a more gracious and wonderful host as William was . Nothing was too much trouble . You will not want for anything here as it’s all provided. The breakfast was amazing and I am sorry I could not eat more than I did as it was delicious. Highly recommended Jessica House to anyone staying in this part of Canada . Many thanks and very best wishes for the future

The room was as advertized and I am so thankful for Lavender's flexibility with my late check-in. So kind and friendly at the phone, providing me with all necessary information. Such a relieve after being stranded in Vancouver due to the Air Canada strike. Ideally for all who value a very competitive price, a close location to the airport and don't want to pay for blingbling.

Our party of 6 stayed only one night at the hotel. We booked 3 separate rooms in a hurry since our flight was turned back to Vancouver after 2 hours fight from Vancouver to Honolulu. The hotel, rooms and facilities are good. The location is ok. The hotel provides free shuttle bus to the airport.
