The room (as everywhere in the B&B) was clean, beautiful and really well renovated. Our room was huge and well ventilated. The King bed was very comfortable.
Very good location near restaurants and the shore.
The breakfast was one of the best I ever ate in a B&B: fresh fruits with yogourt and granola, good coffee and tea, fruit juice, excellent Bénédictine eggs..perfect!
The quiet living room made available to us with many beautiful books...quiet as all the house.

Sheets and towels a cut above.
Breakfast was fab, dining off the beautiful limoge crockery, served by the bekilted Scotsman himself.
Coffee tasted like coffee. :-)
A truly stately Inn with magnificent antiques and artworks.
I might have been just a tad fat for the shower but cosy is good......

The apartment was extremely clean! Beautiful apartment all over. Free wifi, and bell receiver to watch. Washer and dryer was a bonus as we were there for softball and uniforms needed washing. Everything you need is in the kitchen, from tea kettle to pots and pans, cutlery etc.

Pictou is rather a small town with a pleasant waterfront...
Pictou is rather a small town with a pleasant waterfront area but there is not a great deal to do and only limited choice of restaurants. The main attractions is the museum and replica vessel of the first Scottish settlers. We were there is October and unfortunately this was closed and the vessel was under going renovation action. There is also apparently a very nice trail along the shore but again this was under renovation action and closed. A very pleasant little place to stroll round but one day would probably be enough.

Very friendly people.
Very friendly people. The sheep farm and wool store and lavender farm were the best.
Town decided to clean a septic area in front of a restaurant at lunch time! STINKY and LOUD.
Ate at Harbour House Ales and Spirits.. save your money.
Nook and Cranny delicious.

We stayed for one night and arrived late but we were welcomed and we could visit the other bedrooms to chose the best for us. They asked us what time we wanted to have breakfast. They made recommendations for the restaurants.

I love Pictou!
I love Pictou! There are great places to eat, a marvellous place on Front Street to buy pottery and other beautiful things. Love to walk along the trail by the harbour (pictures of two herons on Wednesday)and explore the small business and chat with the VERY friendly people. You get to feel at home in Pictou very quickly.

Beautiful town; I had a delightful sunrise yoga/prayer...
Beautiful town; I had a delightful sunrise yoga/prayer session by the ocean side and met some locals as well. How fantastic of a place. I truly hope you take time to stay here. It is close to Cape Breton Island and a ferry away from PEI. A gem of a place. I will be back, hopefully.

Pictou is a beautiful little town with some nice historic...
Pictou is a beautiful little town with some nice historic sites, waterfront dining and some cool little shops. Unfortunately it seems that many Food & beverage places have closed permanently over the past couple of years, perhaps due to the closure of the Pulp & Paper Mill and/or the pandemic. But the huge plus is that the air no longer carries a toxic odour.

A house with history, wonderfully decorated, comfortable and situated a very short walk from restaurants in Pictou.
The owners were very friendly and the breakfast excellent. Tea and coffee was available during the stay in the dining room (self serve) and the rooms cater for small items that may have been forgotten, e.g. razors, mouthwash, tissues.
Bottles of water were also available for each guest in the rooms.

I LOVED the bed; it was so comfortable and one of the best sleeps I've had in a very long time. The breakfast was delicious and the home made granola was the best granola I've ever tasted. There were several areas throughout the property allowed for relaxation or to be social. I did not spend a lot of time within the property as I was in town for an event. The owners and the staff were lovely and very friendly.

The warm welcome from Linda thet gave us all explanations about the hotel.
The hotel, and the room / bathroom was exactly as showed in the booking.
Very good breakfast with fresh fruits, croissants and normal breads, egg, yogurt, coffe milk tea and two different flavoyrs of juice.
Very good location and nice garden with a sea view.

We like this charming old, perfectly located house. But the main asset is our hostess, Elizabeth. She made you feel at home and welcome there. The house is spotless, and the breakfast is the best we had during our trip to Nova Scotia and PEI
