We have grown to LOVE this place!! The staff are super friendly. The rooms are super clean. And the hot breakfast is super scrumptious!! There are some grassy areas to sit & unwind. A nice BBQ area & pavilion. And all the goodies nearby, Tim Horton's Mary Brown's, Kelsey's, East side Mario's, etc. Munchies for sale in the lobby. Yum yum. When we are looking for somewhere to go, we start by looking for a Comfort Inn!! ♡
Located in downtown Orilla, Ontario, this motel is 1 km from the Couchiching Golf Club and a 10-minute drive from Victoria Point. It offers air-conditioned rooms with free Wi-Fi.

It felt very peaceful, clean, and the friendliness of the ppl, the hospitality of the store owners was remarkable. Where we stayed it was close enough to everything yet just out of the way for peace and relaxation. Can not wait to go back. The beach was amazing with lots for the kids to do of all ages. free parking, snack truck available, Icecream shack,Lots of seating, life guards on duty. I was very impressed. P

Great waterfront with free parking and plenty for kids.
Great waterfront with free parking and plenty for kids. A lot of great places to eat for different budgets. We ate at Theo’s, Fionn McCools and Thai Plate.
You will need a vehicle to get around.
Just don’t stay at the Stone Gate Inn.

Simple, clean, everything you need!
Simple, clean, everything you need! Fridge and microwave and a balcony over looking the lake are a plus. Nothing fancy but the owners are super nice and it's very reasonable.
Tim Horton's is just down the street and there is lots to do in Orillia or just sit back with a drink on the balcony overlooking the scenery!

Orillia is a perfect get-away spot.
Orillia is a perfect get-away spot. Casino is handy, boat tour on Lake Couchiching worth taking, boutiques for shopping, Low Carb #1 on Rama Rd. great selection for diet conscious people, and a variety of terrific eating places. Fair priced accommodations throughout the city and I highly recommend Lakeside Inn on Creighton.

Orillia is a lovely city , historic with the Stephen Leacock Museum , right on the waters of Lake Simcoe and Couchiching , good shopping and many restaurants. Easy driving from Toronto and GTA. Also very close to Casino Rama for those who wish to gamble and also they have great entertainment. We saw Chris DeBurgh the night we stayed.

Only disappointing thing was that at check in, I was told they keep complimentary cookies in lobby after check in times. I was so looking forward to it. Checked every hour from check in till 8pm and there was not any brought out. When I asked night time desk guy. Chinese guy, Alex I think or Eric something like that. He was not friendly. Said the cookies were frozen in the back. I requested one or two for my husband and I but he refused to get us one. Got the impression that he was just not wanting to make an effort or do anything on his night shift but sit in the back room. Was sadly disappointed.
Loved the breakfast but really loved the fresh coffee and tea always on and I found the lemon water very refreshing. We also had a fresh apple waiting in the lobby when we checked in which was a great snack later that night. The room was spotless and the showers were so lovely. The bath products they use were so refreshing and lovely smelling that I would love to purchase them for myself. The hotel was quiet and close to a lot of restaurants and a movie theatre.
Staff were mostly friendly and helpful. We love Orillia and the location of the hotel at the waterfront is great for people who can walk distances because just about everything is walkable. However, with the ongoing construction and road closures it makes it difficult to navigate the city even for people who are familiar with the many charming aspects of the city.
Nothing - the only one thing that was positive about this hotel was that the Receptionist did not charge me the two nights I booked at this hotel - I was not charged at all and I was able to leave right away - this hotel should not be on booking.com it is not a hotel for families or for anyone visiting Orillia
The location of the hotel is great, close to the highway. There are lots of restaurants and fast food places on Memorial. The breakfast was good, bacon and cheese omelettes one morning and sausages and scrambled eggs the next as well as cereal, toast, yogurt, muffins, it was a good assortment.
The hotel is situated in a great place to see a show at Casino Rama. A bit dated, but clean. The front desk employees great, very helpful. The staff working at the breakfast area very friendly. I forgot a bottle opener and the front desk went out of their way to find me one.
It’s conveniently located in the northern central area of Ontario perfect for a base camp while touring through the various towns and villages by motorcycle. Philip the owner there’s a very friendly fellow who makes you feel very welcome.
We were there recently for the Orillia girls hockey tournament. It’s all you really need. Room was nice, large. Close to the arenas and restaurants. Pool for the kids. Continental breakfast was good.
Happy with our choice!
No staff was available l wanted more toilet paper as we had no extra roll left in our room or kleenex and
nobody was around after 10pm for ice seemed we were ignored and not very good service for a hotel.
The hotel and room were very nice. Great pool, and excellent area for seeing Orillia. Close to lots of restaurants and "things to do" such as parks, museums, and the casino.
