Very friendly people. So close to other attractions. Lots of shopping. A cute downtown area. A nice place to relax.
Love going to Sheep River Falls Provincial park. So relaxing and not very far. Good place to see wildlife.

The price for the room was very good, especially during the Calgary Stampede when pricing normally skyrockets in Calgary. When we arrived there were lit candles and the room was very cute, homey, attractive and comfortable. Sooooo much more than a typical hotel room. It was easy to communicate with the host and get answers to our questions. Laurie is awesome!
Next time we're in the area and need a place to stay the Nesting Suite will be our first choice!

We knew going in that the Royal Duke was an older hotel but we loved the location. We were not disappointed in any way. From the excellent check in to the special touches in our renovated room it was lovely: chocolates, bottled waters and a bouquet of flowers set on the bed and the fancy folding of the washcloths to hold toiletries, a special extra not unnoticed! Restaurant experience was equally pleasing! Thank you very much!

I thought we were booking into a hotel, but we're pleasantly surprised with the Ridge. We were the only people there for 3 nights. Our hostess Gloria was a total gem. She had our breakfasts done on our schedule. She totally looked after our needs. She is a keeper. Merry Christmas to all at the Ridge

Breakfast was great. Room was clean. Hot shower with great pressure and great tub for kids. Hotel was quiet. Met our needs well for the weekend we stayed.
