The room was nicely decorated, just slightly small. There is a microwave in the common area and a big thank you to the staff for helping us find 2 bowls that could be used for heating. There is also a hot tub on the roof and a sauna in the building that requires a reservation

I loved the location. The hotel is within walking distance to facilities and the main street. The staff are incredible. Very helpful and extremely friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Staff are amazing and very friendly and engaging. Jody in particular was amazing and made me feel comfortable. Food was delicious. The breakfast salad was a new experience but one I really enjoyed. Room 331 was amazing and the views exceptional.

Absolutely stunning property - owners have thought of everything. They even had 5 chairs sitting out in the sun ready for our arrival and a lovely welcome note in the kitchen. Comfortable beds, excellent shower, well appointed kitchen, large tv great for movie watching.

Everything was exceptional. There was everything in the kitchen that you could possibly need. Diane left us a little bit of cream in the fridge for our first morning tea and coffee which was a lovely touch <3 The bed was soooo comfortable! I would live in this studio if i could! Seriously A+++. We will be back as soon as we can! Thank you so very much!

Good town, clean and tidy throughout Shopping and restaurants plenty Enjoyed our 2 day stay here Ate at Amanda s chinese food, the deck was nice to eat at, friendly staff, good food Dairy Queen for dessert on the way back to motel was fantastic, happy smiling girl serving all the yummy treats by herself, she did great

Love this place , the vibe you get is amazing.

Love this place , the vibe you get is amazing. The people you meet are down to earth and genuine. The food and drink, quenching and delicious. Thoroughly enjoyed sitting in the outdoor cafe's...... Sadie our server at the Full Circle Cafe was a Delight....such a pleasure to have as a hostess / server.....

We liked the historical aspect.

We liked the historical aspect. However, we thought the " organic" was being taken a little to seriously. We're all in favors of choices, and didn't like having this view pushed so hard on us almost every where we went in town.

Nelson has great character.

Nelson has great character. Beautiful buildings, excellent restaurants and an amazing setting on. kootenay Lake. The only issue we had was parking was difficult to find but then, it was Valentine’s Day so maybe it’s not always so bad.

Nelson has many well preserved buildings from the mid 1800s

Nelson has many well preserved buildings from the mid 1800s It is beautifully situated and the setting is picturesque. However the town is not pretty with too many ugly buildings of an industrial nature near the shoreline.

Stunning little city with independent shops and eateries all...

Stunning little city with independent shops and eateries all within a couple of blocks. The river walk to the park and beach was lovely. Even the scenery from the car journey to get to Nelson was fabulous!

Room was as expected, with comfortable beds. Note - beds in the twin rooms are bunk beds (which we knew). Good-sized kitchen where we could prepare breakfast and cook some dinners. Plenty of room to store food. We thought it might be busy but it never was even when the accommodation was full. Great open-mic night which seems to be a bit of a Nelson institution. Staff were very friendly and helpful, with tips on good local restaurants and other nightlife.

Immaculately presented spacious & lots of lovely generous detail. Beautiful colourful well coordinated furniture & artwork. Generous kitchen equipment with Dianne’s pottery to use. Situated at top of hill so straightforward drive to Whitewater to ski & convenient to drop into Nelson for the great shops & restaurants. Lovely to have literature on the area to read & of course Dianne herself very warm & welcoming.

The staff members who checked us in/out were both friendly and welcoming. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud it was so comfortable and the rooms were generally modern. The view from the rooftop patio was incredible and added a special touch to the hotel stay.
