Wonderful stay at this property! So beautifully decorated, very clean, had all the amenities we needed. The welcome gift was an extra bonus! Would definitely stay here again. Loved they used local artisans to furnish this suite.

The room was cozy with an unbelievable view. The king bed was so comfy, the bedding luxurious and a lovely assortment of teas and coffee for us to enjoy in the morning. The suites are just outside of downtown Meaford. It's an absolutely lovely town with fantastic and restaurants ( highly recommend the Leaky Canoe). Irish Mountain Suites is a hidden gem and I can't wait to go back!

Meaford is a hidden gem.

Meaford is a hidden gem. They have the beautiful harbour, walking trails, new library, great shops, restaurants and Meaford Hall with first rate entertainment. If you are lucky to be there on market day check out the local fresh produce, crafts and butter tarts. Check out The Red Door Pub and The Dam Pub for great food. Tilleys has an awesome breakfast and really reasonable. In fact I don't know how they keep their prices so affortable. You can walk everywhere and with the price of gas that is wonderful. We ate well during our stay but we walked off those extra calories. The people around town were amazingly friendly. Be proud Meaford.

It is was Monday so a lot was closed including eating...

It is was Monday so a lot was closed including eating facilities we would have gone to....we went to Thornbury for dinner. I love Meaford and would highly recommend visiting but careful accommodations especially if you have a dog.

Very well equipped house, owners had thought of everything and had been very generous in the treats left. Accurate photographs. Upper and lower deck areas, spacious accommodation with quality equipment. Short walk to Meaford town and small beach, plenty to explore in the area if you have a car. Great communication from the hosts.

It was a great location to the downtown Meaford area. Easy walking distance to the harbour and the restaurants, shops and library. Tilleys down the street is so convenient for breakfast. Thornbury is also a short drive away.

The atmosphere and location of the cottage in Meaford were wonderful. Quaint furnishings, and we really enjoyed the rocking chairs for views and relaxing. The bed was comfortable and clean. A comfortable stay for a couple.
