Arrived during a massive storm- power off through whole of North Island. Staff anticipated issues and mitigated. Water remained hot and we hunkered down and went through the week fine.

The lady who booked us in was pleasant and kind. We appreciated her waiting to book us in. We left before the breakfast so we could catch the Port Hardy ferry. The sheets were linen I think and I felt like royalty!! A quiet, restful night.

Meshell and Stephen provided the greatest accomodation we had found in Canada during our entire trip. The Inn is a hidden gem on this island, offering peaceful, cosy, and unique views. It is important to mention how amazing their breakfast is. We were able to use the barbacue and use their kayaks for an afternoon trip  We deffenetly would recommend The Oceanfront Inn on Stephens Bay.

Loved the cosy cabin, had all we needed for our 1 night stay, fabulous views and a great location for the ferry port. Would recommend.

Big clean room in flat and private bathroom in the appartement. There was a common room with TV and board games as well as a kitchen with all the necessary equipment. The patio was really nice with seaview and with good weather you can even enjoy breakfast outside. Paula and Johan were great hosts and helpful with finding local a tour guide.
