Arrived during a massive storm- power off through whole of North Island. Staff anticipated issues and mitigated. Water remained hot and we hunkered down and went through the week fine.

The lady who booked us in was pleasant and kind. We appreciated her waiting to book us in. We left before the breakfast so we could catch the Port Hardy ferry. The sheets were linen I think and I felt like royalty!! A quiet, restful night.

Exceptional hospitality at the Inn. Stephen and Michelle are delightful and run the guest house to the highest standards. They could not have done more to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was exceptional as others have written and the Inn has every comfort. We took out a double kayak for a paddle down the bay which was so peaceful and saw seals and nesting eagles.

Loved the cosy cabin, had all we needed for our 1 night stay, fabulous views and a great location for the ferry port. Would recommend.

Sitting in the pergola, looking out on the Frigon Islands was blissful. We saw more wildlife from here than in the previous two weeks of our trip. The suite is comfortable and spacious and is not shared with anyone. The tv in the lounge is great with loads of channels including Netflix and Prime. Johan and Paula were lovely hosts.
