We flew back from overseas jetlagged and heading home to the Kootenays. We booked a night at the last minute and walked into the room - we were blown away at the warmth and coziness upon entering the suite. It was decorated for the holidays, holiday channel with soft music on in the background, soft lamp lighting, and warm and toasty. The kitchen is fully stocked, the bathroom has everything you could need, the washer and dryer were a godsend, 2 beautifully sized bedrooms, and a ton of outdoor space for eating and lounging. Self-check-in was efficient, and should we be staying for longer, we would have liked to meet the family dog. 10/10

Very clean, great outdoor sitting areas, exactly what I would expect for a breakfast that's included in the hotel price. There were a few homeless people outside at night using the outdoor space and smoking, but I told the staff and they told the people to move along which they did in a polite way.

The hosts, Jason and Lynn, are genuinely caring, sincere and generous. The guest accommodations are very private (Sagebrush Caboose is .7 km. up a winding gravel rd.) and off-grid, but provide every convenience and comfort one might expect, including coffee beans roasted on site. The construction of the Sagebrush Caboose is phenomenal, as though built by a cabinet maker,; the fit, finishes and hardware, superb. The provided linens and amenities are top-notch - the queen bed in the cupola/loft, extremely comfortable. Outside, the gas bbq. and firetable provided a comfortable area to socialize and dine al fresco. The location on their farm is inviting and private , yet handy to Oliver and Osoyoos should you wish to visit wineries, fruit stands, or hanker for a restaurant meal. There are lots of areas to hike and perhaps glimpse big-horn sheep up on rocky bluffs and many deer along the roadsides.

Located on the Okanagan Highway and 2 minutes from downtown Oliver, this inn features an outdoor pool and patio. Free Wi-Fi is provided.
