The Gite au Perchoir was a real discovery. We booked on line, based on the reviews and photos and weren’t disappointed. We had the upstairs room with a balcony with stunning views across the St Lawrence which we enjoyed on a warm evening and clear morning. The room was very comfortable with great facilities and we enjoyed a very personally prepared breakfast with the other guests each morning. We also had access to a comfortable sitting room downstairs with coffee and tea. To be recommended.

The Refuge is in a lovely peaceful location with beautiful views across the St Lawrence. There’s a deck out front to relax and enjoy the views and listen to the rushing stream nearby. There’s also a fully enclosed BBQ area which is great in the evenings to avoid insect attacks. The kitchen is well stocked with crockery and cutlery plus a decent range of cooking appliances. Jacques was lovely and gave us a very warm welcome and a very thorough run through of all the property’s features.

Great in a lot of way!!!

Great in a lot of way!!! Like the nearby walks, the art galleries, was near a lot of attractions, everything was either a short walk of a short/moderate drive. The only drawback is the food--the restaurants were extremely expensive and the food there was at best so so. On one evening I ended up with some serious indigestion. There are lots of nearby grocery stores, though, with lots of variety at pretty reasonable cost.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Auberge Daina and really liked the ethos underlying the place: e.g. all tips are given to the organisation it supports in helping the local community. The room was well equipped and extremely clean. The staff were friendly and we were given a very warm welcome. The location was a few kilometres out of town and as the bistro shuts at 6pm it was necessary to go back to St Paul for dinner, but not an issue for us. Lovely garden beautifully maintained - and plenty of (free) parking.

The Condo 111 was outstanding! The decor was beautiful. The furniture was new and high quality. The condo was very spacious and the large patio was very practical. Compared with other condos along the ground floor, the patio furniture including an outdoor table were exceptionally good quality. We will definitely book this condo again!
