The rooms are large and well appointed. The office area has a lot of beautiful artwork for sale, but it's also very nice to just look at it. The breakfast was quite good, with a waffle maker and pastries along with fruit and yogurt and so on. The Wi-Fi was good. All the rooms are ground floor and there is sufficient parking for at least one car in front of each room.

Martha and Art were wonderful hosts sharing their knowledge of the history of the house and local area. Breakfast was tasty and unique. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it to others.

Because we stayed a couple of nights the owner gave us enough towels for our stay upon our arrival, so she wouldn’t have to disturb us. Our room was very clean and warm during the cold nights. There was plenty of hot water and pressure for our showers. WIFI was strong during our stay. Parking in front of our room was nice also.

What a delightful stay. The property is perfectly placed to walk around town, restaurants and surrounding areas. The hosts are warm, welcoming and prepare the most amazing breakfasts! They also provided lots of information for visiting the area, which really helped me discovering the right places. Hillside is definitely a home away from home!

Lovely hotel with well sized rooms and a comfy bed! Breakfast was delicious - set us up for the day! Easy parking opposite the hotel. Would 100% recommend!
