Recently stayed at Mika’s Resort and it was an absolute delight! From the moment we arrived, the serene atmosphere and beautiful surroundings set the tone for a relaxing getaway. Place is super well located. Andrea, Steph and the rest of the staff makes you feel like home right away. They have the cozy family vibe where people meet around the pool or in the restaurant and socialize. I had the best time and they made Eleuthera a wonderful stay. I can highly recommend the place. I travelled 80 countries and had my fair share of hotel experiences, and this one was one of my best.

Our little cottage was the most beautiful little cottage with a stunning view of the sea and you can hear the waves! Just beautiful. We had a basic kitchen but it worked fine for us. Everything we needed. The Air Con in the bedroom is great. Bathroom lovely. Big beach towels were great. Wallis, our taxi driver, stopped at the general store on the way to the cottage. That was great as there are three little shops in the local village which we managed to find something we needed in each but they’re quite basic. Such lovely locals. Really friendly and helpful. Alexander is such a great host. He also makes wonderful bread! The poppy seed rolls were my favourite. Also Alexander has loads of contacts if you need anything at all. He lives on-site so he’s always at hand. Very nice man. The beach was beyond our wildest expectations! Just the most beautiful beach we’ve ever seen! It was like being on a desert island! Stunning! Tippi’s is a bar/restaurant about an hours walk away. Great food! Then we walked all the way home on the beach in the afternoon! Just so fabulous! We didn’t hire a car as we wanted to chill out for a week (which we did!) so we walked everywhere. The snorkeling on our beach was just great. The reefs are very near. The fish are beautiful. The sea is crystal clear. The walk to the other side of the island was great and easy. It’s a pretty view from there and the little blue fishes under the pier were perfect snorkelling. The Hotel next door was lovely and really welcoming. We went for a beer there most evenings, sitting watching the sun go down over the sea! Stunning! The food at the Hotel was good in the evenings and the Tacos at lunchtime were the best we’ve had! Delicious! But we loved our little cottage the most! Most perfect holiday EVER!!!!

Our experience with the accommodation in the Bahamas was absolutely exceptional! The location was stunning, with breathtaking views of the turquoise sea, and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive.
