I was very pleased with my stay at this hotel. The staff is extremely attentive, helpful, and always willing to assist, which made all the difference during my visit. The breakfast deserves special mention: varied, well-prepared, and with fresh products, providing a great start to the day. Friendly and helpful staff even with the language barrier (i don't speak Portuguese and they didn't speak English). The hotel room was nice and clean when we checked in and was just as clean everyday after the cleaning staff had been there - clean sheets and towels, folded blanket and overall nice and neat. The room itself is small but is equipped with everything you could need: TV, minifridge, own bathroom, bed (of course), a little table, shelfspace and an aircondition (which was greatly appreciated). The breakfast is served at a designated time every morning and is very fine: bread, ham, cheese, pão de queijo, fruits, juice and coffee - a very nice and easy way to start the day. And if you need any water or Guaranà Antarctica (absolutely love that stuff) or soda you can buy it in the lobby for very fair prices. The location is very nice! Seemingly safe neighborhood (my experience), close to small stores and restaurants. Avenida Paulista is in walking distance from the hotel (though you'll have to walk uphill - can be a little tiring for your legs but hey exercise is healthy!) and getting a Uber/Taxi/99 to or from the hotel is easy and quick. The price I paid for staying here compared to what I got was very very good - you definitely get value for your money. When (not if) I return to São Paulo I'll definitely try to see if New Point Hotel has a free room for me:)

Everything was GREAT! The room is lovely and super comfortable, the shower is amazing, and the breakfast was a great way to start the day. Specially the scrambled eggs! Also the staff was super nice, and the snacks at the reception were a total blessing. Will definitely stay there again if we go back to Sao Paulo.

I loved the choice of all the Cafes and restaurants and many attractions around the city. I also liked the fact that i could take the Metro (subway) pretty well everywhere feeling safe and was easy to use with Google maps. Took the free walking tours to see may attractions and found you could see many places also feeling safe and secure.

São Paulo has endless entertainment to offer—it's impossible to see and do everything in just one visit. If you can, take a ride through the main tourist spots so you at least get a feel for the city. A walk through Ibirapuera Park is a must, and don’t miss driving by the incredible brutalist buildings (there are many, but MASP and MuBE should be on your list). Check out Beco do Batman—it’s so much more than graffiti. Enjoy the food scene, visit a samba bar, spend an evening in a listening room, and stroll down Avenida Paulista on a Sunday afternoon. São Paulo is a huge playground, and Brazilians know how to have fun—and they’re genuinely happy to welcome you. Go, and then go back again :)

I loved my entire stay in Sao Paulo! The locals are extremely friendly and helpful. The vendors are helpful and patient! I look forward to returning! Getting around was super easy, Ubers are in abundance and super affordable!

Don't spend more than a day in this city.

Don't spend more than a day in this city. We went with a vastly open mind, bu the city shut it tightly. Its not pretty. Honestly, we were back there 4 times, and let me assert, it was 3 times too often. There is traffic, which will numb you brain. Totally and utterly impossible to comprehend that 10km can take 90 mins. Its a city yes, but its gigantic and not appealing - it has the charm of a concrete fish. Its the amazon made of cement and motar. Those 24 million people, are all around you, living in towering blocks of endless flats. Check out the cathedral, some of the museums, the botanical gardens (which are in desperate need of love), and the zoo, and you're pretty much done, especially if you have kids. Good luck.

São Paulo is very lively with lots of nightlife, museums, parks, malls etc. The metro is modern and easy to use, and safe. The cost per ride is about $0.90USD. That is both for the metro and commuter rail lines. Beco do Batman is also a must see. Do not stay downtown. Although there are many sights there to see during the day, it is a bit seedy at night.

There's no other place to stay in Sao Paulo! This is the best hotel. I've been fortunate to have a chance to stay in many hotels around the world but this is so far the best. The quality , the service, the food , the space ! Everything makes this hotel very special. I've stayed there many times and it's always difficult to leave the place. Massive thanks for helping me celebrate my birthday with some brazilian brigadeiros and a beautiful view of the garden! I can't wait to be back. Thanks Rosewood
