The property felt really premium for a 4 star hotel. The rooms were really nice and felt luxurious. The breakfast did not have a lot of options but everything was high quality. The check in was really fast (the faster I had in Brazil in a long time). The internet worked very well and was sufficiently fast. The room service was super fast both for some new towels as well as for our food order.

Breakfast, was full of options and they even did eggs benedict when it wasn't the eggs benedict day. The room was super clean they we had a 2 persons bed and still another one on the side. Beds were super comfortable and all was super clean also in the bathroom. If you are not a huge ecologist, the bath tube was big enough for 2. Please go to the massage on the top and pay the 1h30 min relaxing, it is amazing. Location is perfect, you can always go for a walk during the day near the beach, the surroundings on the back of the hotel, I will not recommend to walk there alone, but I think nobody will point you a gun. There is a nice padaria if you are not willing to pay for breakfast.

If you are going for shopping or to walk on the beach than...

If you are going for shopping or to walk on the beach than you are in the right place. It has 2 big shopping moles and it has a nice place called Boa Viagem where I recommend you to go for some physical activity and even for a walk during the day. People are extremely friendly, but of course there is a lot of people bagging on the streets, the rich are too rich and the poor are extremely poor. I recommend you to go to the Capitão Gancho Pizzaria and Entre amigos o bode, both very nice places. The first one extremely local and the other one depends on which part of the restaurant you choose. Always take an uber specially if you don't speak the language. There are beaches "near by" 1h where you can swim with uber costing €21 or dollars one-way. Like for instance Porto de Galinhas Beach and city.

Amazing historic centre (part repaired, part in state of...

Amazing historic centre (part repaired, part in state of ruin), a palace and arts centres so plenty to spend a day. With more time I would have headed out ot town to attractions 30-40 mins away. A bike tour was a good way to esplore the city. Recife combined with Olinda could be a 4 day trip

Location is wonderful Beach is across the street Restaurants are one block down the street or downstairs In the lobby and the food was very nice The rooms need some upgrades and the bathrooms must get maintenance the water drainage issue is a problem and it needs upgrading to be more than a 3 star room. But the view was 4 star and the staff was 5

I loved the locals, the culture, the beach, and the homeless people I fed while I was there. I liked the old center, the city in general I liked Olinda, and old town nearby that I should recommend. I like the Assai Supermarket and the Shopping Rio Mar. The Outlet restaurant at the shopping. The people are tall, beautiful, nice artists. I loved Recife and Porto de Galinhas and Praia dos Carneiros where I bought a flat. I live in Brasília, but have many friends in Araçatuba, São Paulo, where I was born and raised. They will all be in my flat when it is ready in 3 years.

Recife used to be a beautiful city but crime and a bad...

Recife used to be a beautiful city but crime and a bad economy made the city one of the less pleasant experience. Many shark attacks happen in two of the major beaches, Boa Viagem and Piedade. All the coast has sign alerting that swimming is not recommended. I don’t see a point of ever visiting this place again.

Big city vibes, but with some nice parks and green areas and also the river that give a bit of alternative scenery. Some nice small museums, the beaches are nothing special, ask locals to show you spots for the evening/night.

The apartment is very well located in Recife. although you can’t swim in Boa Viagem, you can walk in the neighbourhood and there are many restaurants around. The view is beautiful and there’s a lot of wind. We were able to cook and chill. The bed was comfortable.

The hotel features a modern, comfortable and spacious room with fast WiFi. The hotel breakfast was excellent. The entire hotel has air conditioning to keep you cool in the humid weather. However upon arrival we had to wait 2-3 hours until a room opened up.

Such a lovely stay! We stayed for New Year’s Eve and the hotel kindly gave every guest a complimentary bottle of champagne and glasses! Was such a nice touch! They also let us check out 1 out late at no extra cost
