The hotel was very nice and modern. The rooms were particularly nice and the bed very comfortable. The pool area upstairs was very peaceful. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options. They also had coffee in reception which I always think is a nice touch.

The hotel was conveniently located right in front of the beach and near another beach bar/restaurant that is very popular in town. The rooms were specious and bed very comfortable. They provided us with a free room upgrade to a balcony room at check in, which was a nice way to start our experience and holiday together as a family.

We have been to Joao Pessoa many times and try a different place all the time. Many different Standards for sure! Xilo was good, spacious room and all facilities. Location very good too with short walk to the beach and lots of restauarants and little supermarkets and coffee shops etc.

Joao Pessoa is a hidden secret in Brazil but now I think more people know about it now. It has a nice mix of upbeat and laid back places and neighborhoods for any kind of taste. Ville des Plantes a wonderful place for breakfast, lunch, brunch or dinner. I walked the entire beach from Bessa to Cabo Branco.

We enjoyed our trip to João Pessoa, and the reason for being...

We enjoyed our trip to João Pessoa, and the reason for being there was to run the João Pessoa Marathon. It was supposed to start at 4:30 AM, but they decided to start at 4:00 AM without any warning about the change. That was a kick on the shin because they had a set of rules, but they themselves don't observe them. Needless to say, I was very disappointed and disheartened. Yes, I did finish it! The two restaurants we liked the most were "Sapore D'Italia" and "Canoa Restaurant." The only two fun activities we had were walking on the beach and running the Marathon. It was enough for us. Yes, getting around João Pessoa is very easy.

Look like a big city with a lot buildings but the service is very slow to be honest the only two restaurants have a real good food was Nau and Quilha usually at the beach the food sucks and is very expensive.

I was very positively impressed by the city.

I was very positively impressed by the city. It is beautiful and, of course, the people are fantastic: helpful, smiling, talkative. The infrastructure in most of the beaches I visited is very good, the food is amazing and for those who love shopping for crafts, the options are numberless.

I have been traveling to Joao Pessoa for work for over 2...

I have been traveling to Joao Pessoa for work for over 2 years. I love it. There are lots of things to do and see. the beaches are great. I have never met a person that was not nice and friendly. Felt safe walking the streets along the beach and was never uncomfortable as a foreigner.

João Pessoa is as perfect as a beach city can get. It has numerous historical places from Brazil's colonization years, vast beaches that can be considered one of the best urban beaches in the whole countries and excellent tour guides to interesting places a little further.

The location is OK, half distance from Cabo Branco and the Historical Center of Joao Pessoa, but you need a car or taxis. The staff was extremely kind and helpful to organise my visit of Joao Pessoa. Both the common areas and the room were wonderfully clean. The room was large enough for me and had a partial view of the ocean: it was quiet and had good electrical light to read in bed. Brakfast on the hotel terrace was a treat.
