Nice and calm place (besides the wind noises , but as kitesurfers we love wind, right ;)) in front of the beach. The host are super friendly, they offer a good breakfast with fresh fruits and you can order additional things like tapioca, omelette and eggs. You can order lunch and dinner and everything tastes good for a fair price. If you like, you can also go to Ilha do guajiru for dinner by car, but it depends on your driving skills if you don’t have a 4x4. For people who are not used to drive through water and sand it’s a little bit tricky to get there, so I recommend to arrive there during the day. Otherwise the host will helps you, but you have to contact them what in our situation was only possible by walking to the place, because we had no internet at this place

We stayed at Wind Rose for 6 nights and it was amazing. From the beginning on very helpful, helped us to organize the transport to get there, very warm welcome. Only a five minute walk to the lagoon. Due to the amazing location of the pousada we were able to kite twice a day, not depending on the tide. The breakfast was delicious and with a pre booking in the morning we were able to have diner in the pousada! When we had a problem with one kite they offered imidiate help and drove us to the center, helped to find a solution. We can warmly recommend this beautiful pousada. We loved our little bungalow, the quietness and basically just everything!

Amazing place, the food was the best in the town (breakfast everyday was epic and then the pizza also), location right on the kite spot, staff all super friendly, good place to work (although not aaalways reliable wifi but I made it work), even better place to relax and wait for high tide.

The location is perfect for kitesurfing, just steps from the beach. The host was kind and very helpful, always available for any questions. The apartment is beautifully designed and functional, with all necessary appliances in excellent condition. We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Guajiru Kitesafari! From the very first moment, we felt incredibly welcomed. The tents are super comfortable, and the outdoor bathroom makes the experience feel extra special. The location is stunning — right on the lagoon, perfect for heading straight out on the water, and close to Guajiru town, yet far enough away to enjoy complete peace and quiet. The breakfast and dinner are delicious, prepared with great attention and love. Many evenings, everyone gathers around the long table to eat together — such a warm and cozy atmosphere, it truly feels like being among friends. Erwin and Barbara are wonderful people who make you feel right at home and go above and beyond to help with anything you might need. In short: a huge recommendation. We will definitely be coming back! 💛🌴🪁

All in all a Great hostel! It has an awesome location right next to the lake. Launching the kite and heading straight into the water is a luxurious feeling. I slept great in the dormitory room and breakfast is off good quality and nutritional value. Furthermore, Niels and Matheo are great hospitable hosts but also experienced and passionate kite instructors. The hostel had everything I needed for a relaxed kite vacation on a budget.
