I would need a whole essay to talk about the positive things we experienced at Campus 90 - literally anything went way over our expectations. We were in Bulgaria before, the whole country itself has so much to offer that if you find such a wonderful place like this it really becomes the place where to come back next time! The room and its bathroom, the staff, the location, the breakfast, the services... everything went extremely smoothly.

The property is brand new, a remodeled monument. It’s designed with style and modern taste. The staff was absolutely amazing. They were welcoming and sweet and were there to help with anything. Our flight got delayed and they even called us to check if we are okay 🥹. I suggest no one coming here next summer so I have a room to book for me and my friends 🙂‍↔️

Very lovely and compact if you're staying near Varna Beach.

Very lovely and compact if you're staying near Varna Beach. Huge pedestrian zone, easy to navigate the city (I used Google Maps the first day, and then I was roaming like a native). Loved the huge stretch of park along the coast, all the restaurants and bars. I arrived just as school started, so on the fringe of the season. People very, very friendly. Absolutely loved the beach bar and restaurant Pechkata and the Sea View. Calamar Bar. And my favorite, The Forrest. Swam with the dolphins at the dolphinarium (fantastic!) and even bumped a jellyfish on the head by accident (lucky that, but the poor sucker ended up on the beach two days later). For my first visit to Bulgaria, very positive (I mean, the jellyfish did NOT sting me, so there is that).

From a tourism perspective, it's not a very interesting city...

From a tourism perspective, it's not a very interesting city. It has a large park, a less impressive pedestrian street, and a long beach that is crowded and littered (lots of cigarette butts are scattered around). There are a few scattered socialist-era sights still in the city. I would recommend visiting the nearby Balchik instead.

Pedestrian friendly vibrant city with beautiful gardens, landscape, beaches and architecture. The city centre near hotel Chernomore and sea garden gives ample options of vegetarian and non vegetarian food.

The location is great - close to city center, great eats, the varna archaeological museum, which is world class, and walking distance to the sea garden, the beach etc. The accomodation is quite nice as it was the house of the first Varna mayor after Bulgarian independence and it still carries the atmosphere. Staff is excellent and very accommodating.

We booked this hotel through Booking and were very satisfied with our stay. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. The price–quality ratio is perfect. We really liked the place. It has a large balcony, everything was clean and tidy, and the appliances are modern and in excellent condition. Highly recommended!
