We only stayed for one night halfway. The hotel was a real surprise for us. I chose two superior rooms. The price paid was very good for the comfort and cleanliness offered. I've read bad reviews about the hotel rooms but I don't see how that's possible if you make sure you book what you expect to get. The terrace of the restaurant is very beautiful and full of greenery. Breakfast is made to order and is very well prepared. Overall score 10.

We only had one night in Stara Zagora but it made us want to come back. A lovely green city with some amazing ancient remains, it was good just to walk in from the station area, have an excellent meal at Uniqato 2 (highly recommended) and stroll back.

Stara Zagora is a wonderful city.

Stara Zagora is a wonderful city. There is so many attractions that you can attend to. There is a zoo, there are many parks where you can go for a walk or to relax. It is a pleasure to walk down on the streets. There are so many bars, cafes, restaurants, bakeries, stores and even couple of malls. You must visit Starazagorski Bani.It is a magical place. There is a forest path around the lake where you can enjoy walking in the nature. You can drink mineral water for free ;) or just to enjoy the fresh air.

Stara Zagora is a lovely city to spend time in.

Stara Zagora is a lovely city to spend time in. Has everything you need (once you know where to go!). Lots of bars and restaurants with a variety of food choices. A great place to eat is Uniquato and for desserts, Nedelya cafe is a must! The high street is clean, always busy, fun for people watching. There are lots of parks in the city and it is full of different stores and a lot of second hand clothes shops for people who enjoy shopping!

Perfect place for both a short and a longer holiday - musts...

Perfect place for both a short and a longer holiday - musts are the Roman forum and at least the nearby history museum and art gallery. The Neolithic dwellings museum is a walking distance away from the centre. The pedestrian and bazaar areas are full of nice cafes and restaurants. There are several beautiful parks in Stara Zagora worth a visit. The city has a pleasant atmosphere and people are friendly and helpful.

I'm guessing people have a specific reason to go there.

I'm guessing people have a specific reason to go there. I had one, which was travelling and performing with the choir I'm in. I really liked Stara Zagora and I would go back again. Lots of parks and green spaces. Lovely cafes and restaurants. Really useful market and shops. Lots of walks to go on. Easy to get to countryside.

I was there for 1 night for business.

I was there for 1 night for business. The hotel is in a horrible place between a building site, a housing estate and behind a damp yard and a dilapidated facade. It looks nothing like on the photo and the proprietors should be fined for deformation. I hwve taken photographs as an evidence. However, I know the booking.com will do nothing to refind my money, so i am not going to fight for my losses. I am a business partner on booking.com and my rooms are impeccable and luxurious compared to this hotel.

The apartment was great, very clean, had everything needed for a short stay in Stara Zagora. Close to the high street (10 min walking distance) to lots of bars, restaurants and shops. There was air conditioning in the living room, a big fridge, very clean bathroom and soap provided. Also a parking space in the building courtyard. Self check in was smooth and we were met by a friendly man in the building to show us where to go! Would recommend to any travellers staying in Stara for a few days.

The stuff was amazing, so helpful, always available to grand requests, provide help, and answer questions. The room was spotless, the neighborhood quiet, and only a short 5 minute walk from Galleria Mall. I truly enjoyed my stay, and DORM BG will definitely be my first choice next time I visit Stara Zagora.

This is a really good budget option in Stara Zagora. The room is clean and bright with good air conditioning. The location is actually fine - but be careful to follow the instructions provided (ie to get to it through the railway station). In this particular case, Google Maps is not your friend!

A clean modern hotel in a good location, and despite being very central, the room was quiet. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the shower is a nice big size. The breakfast was excellent, the staff were friendly and helpful. Would happily stay here again next time I am in Stara Zagora
