It was very well cared for by its attentive proprietor. My room had a separate lounge and bedroom, a large bathroom and kitchen facilities. The dinner provided, although a set menu, was both delicious and substantial. Breakfast was typically Bulgarian and was a feast. The proprietor was most helpful and is clearly proud of her establishment. My companion and I were travelling by motorcycle and she allowed us to park in her garage.

We had a fantastic stay at Cactus House. Peter, our host was so helpful with great communication at all times. The house was really well kitted out with everything you might need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. The kitchen was good to use with all essentials and useful pots and pans. There were the basics of salt, pepper, oil and vinegar to use. The air con unit was really excellent, seeing as temperatures were in the late 30s when we came to stay. Such a lovely place to unwind and relax. We explored the villages around, went to the village shop to get things. Friendly locals and great vegetables and local cheeses on offer. Peter is an excellent host and we had some lovely conversations with him. We look forward to staying again and would highly recommend this place to people.
