Good location, 10 mins drive to Seven Rila Lakes Chairlift station and right opposite a beautiful forest. Our experience with both the front desk and restaurant staff are great. Breakfast is varied and lots to offer. We asked for lower floor to minimize lugging of bags upstairs since there’s no elevator. The view from the room is still fantastic despite the lower floor. Room is clean and more spacious than expected.

The Algara Hut is fantastic. The room, the surrounding area, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff (we arrived after 10 p.m. and they still made us dinner!). They were always kind and helpful. Even though they spoke little English, they made every effort to help us understand everything. It's close to the cable car that takes you up to Rila Mountain to the beautiful Rila Lakes trekking. Breakfast is served individually and we always find it delicious.

We've already stayed at lovna Hut five years ago and came back now. Same great experience. Boris is such a nice host providing yummy dinner and breakfast. He's truly a unique guy and a character. It was so much fun drinking with him and hearing stories from his life. It is very eco friendly with most of the power coming from hydro power. And the location and setting is simply magical - rustic hut in the middle of a forest, rivers nearby and the Rila mountain above you.

It is a magical remote location situated in an amazing forest.Clean, fresh air and beautiful forest of tall pine trees. Very well maintained and cute surroundings. It is not exactly a village but a remote location with few mountain hotels .Perfect for hiking to the Seven Rilla Lakes or other less difficult hikes.You need a car for sure but there are also buses from Sofia passing through.The lift is far for a walking distance .It is around 6.5 km from there.

Very friendly and helpful staff, great car parking, comfortable bed, good wifi, nice swimming pool (a little on the small side). Very good breakfast with a good choice of different options. On the down side, no lift, no air-conditioning and a little deceptive to mention that the Rila Monastery was about 16km away...not CLEARLY mentioning that this is in a straight line. It is a one and a half hour drive..... 😔

Skakavica hut has a marevelous location.

Skakavica hut has a marevelous location. The path marking on the way needs imorovenent. The hut has started renovating the building, but has still a long way to go. The rooms and corridors are very old style. The service and guardians are nice though.

Hotel is relatively new and it shows, feels very fresh. Location is great - lift to Rila Lakes is about 10 minutes with car. The people from the personal are always nice. Spa is nothing to boast about but is enough. Great for people with children. Rooms are clean, cozy and sound-proofing is excellent. One won't be disappointed from the restaurant, also.

Amazing hosts! Mimi was super nice and warm towards us, offered us a lot of additional things like free room service and extra cheese/butter for breakfast. The hotel was right in the middle of the forest and the view was exceptional. It was warm, quiet and peaceful - definitely a relaxing experience, if you want a city break.

The hotel is located in a perfect place, in the midst of Rila mountain. The views from the hotel are beautiful, in the winter, as well as summer time. The hotel has a great restaurant with delicious food. We stayed in a junior suite, very comfortable, with a gret view, very warm and cozy. The spa was perfect.

The location is fantastic! The nature around the hotel is simply amazing. The apartment was spacious and wide enough for a family of 4. The food in the restaurant was nice. It is located 15 minutes away from the Seven Rila Lakes Lift station. Great experience!
