Great qualitative renovation job of an old station in a modern, industrial, technical and eco-friendly way. Owners friendly. Practical, cosy and big shared kitchen and living room (in addition to kitchen corner in room). Delicious smells in the whole building. sink, fridge, dishes, microwave in the room. Big bathroom, big shower, soap, shampoo, ... Individual confortable beds (can work for double or twin), we had a 3-bed room (there's only one like this) Dishes and drinks available from vending machine. Breakfast upon request (not tested) You can walk to the village center (butcher, bakery, hairdresser...)

The owner was very nice and helpful. She gave us good travel tips. Good breakfast. Bus stop to Gent in front of the hotel. Online check-in was quick and easy, the key was prepared at front desk. Parking is placed in the backyard.

The room was spacious, very quiet, and spotlessly clean, with plenty of natural light and lovely views. It was fully equipped and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The common areas were cozy, peaceful, and just as well-equipped. Breakfast was delicious, made with high-quality ingredients. Pets are welcome, which is a huge plus, and the owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming. The building itself is charming, and the hotel offers all the comforts you could want. Truly felt like being at home. Highly recommended!

The character of the property alongside its setting really makes the stay relaxing and very enjoyable. The owner is a great chap who makes you feel welcome and at home. There is a eatery and cafe (pub) across the road from the property as well as a restaurant for finer dining, all of which back on to a lovely stream making for a very enjoyable evening experience. There are good transport links to the nearby town of Lokeren via bus or bike. It really does have everything you need. I would highly recommend and potentially bring the family back.
