The suite is perfect for tunning away from the city to just relax and enjoy free time. Owners are great and help with everything if you need. A great thing is that you can buy drinks without getting out of the suite! I book many times and it is the first time I see something like this. Really nice place. The transformation of the former cloth-making town has been very successful so far, and progress is continuing. The town offers good restaurants, music venues, and a wide selection of beers in its bars. Parts of the town are situated on higher ground, and it boasts monuments, museums, impressive townhouses, and parks. We also took time to explore the parks and were able to relax. The people are friendly.

Verviers wasn't particularly beautiful. A very gray city. We were invited to a wedding in Chevron and used Verviers as a base for further day trips in the Belgian province. Theux, Namur, and Dinant were much nicer.

Verviers was a wealthy old city and has preserved many of its charms; restoration has begun. Beautiful parks and museums. Good food. Don't forget to book Hotel des Ardennes for the atmosphere of this old family hotel (with modern comforts).

Verviers is a sad city that has suffered greatly, and...

Verviers is a sad city that has suffered greatly, and continues to suffer, from the floods of two years ago. The new shopping center is a concrete boulevard devoid of interesting shops. The old town center is utterly desolate with all the empty buildings and shops undergoing renovations. Don't go there. Better choose Spa or Liège.

We had the 'marine' room with en suite bathroom. We had a good space, comfortable beds, kettle and fridge. The location of the B&B was rural and quiet so we slept very well. Often we stay in very modern, impersonal hotels so it was a pleasure to be in a real B&B where we were treated as actual guests, rather than names on a list. We enjoyed a generous and delicious breakfast every morning and the hosts were welcoming. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay and we enjoyed it very much.

The hosts were very nice and easy to reach. They are very polite and friendly people. The studio is charming, it has a nice balcony and the view has some nice trees which host some happy singing birds. The neighbourhood is also beautiful and we think it is the best choice for Verviers. There is a bakery nearby open early in the morning, some restaurants here and there and a big supermarket. We had a good time in this studio and we plan to come back.

Unique and welcoming, Chantal and her family were attentive and accommodating. With notice, we were able to have an evening meal made with locally-sourced produce. Breakfast was continental-style with plenty of choice. This is a quirky B&B that ticks all the boxes for a comfortable stay. Convenient location for the motorway and a bus-trip or short drive into Verviers. Will return if we find ourselves in Belgium again.

Welcomed by the host & the room was clean. There is a Pizza Hut takeaway across the street from the hotel that provides for a meal - you have limited mobility access to find a restaurant in Verveirs after thee car park is locked at 8pm (though you could just resolve this problem by look for a parking space on the street in the area around the hotel).
