Excellent location for anyone coming to Rochehault for hiking in the Ardennes. The house is literally located next to one of the most beautiful hiking trails in Belgium, above the beautiful Semois valley.

Wow, we booked on line for a place in the Belgium country side as we are making our way south to Florence. We picked a cheaper remote hotel expecting the average. When we arrived we found an upmarket historic property situated just outside a quaint village and set beside the most amazing stream. After settling into our comfortable room we went down to the the beautiful lounge area beside a stone fire place. Outside the sounds of the stream set a magic environment to enjoy a glass of local red wine and cheese. We then went to the restaurant where we enjoyed a perfectly cooked steak and vegetables, with fresh salad and hot crisp chips. Perfect. So good was our stay we decided to book and additional night. If you are a hiker or just enjoy life and love good living here is your place

Lovely hotel in a rural location. As a small group of motorcyclists we stayed here while touring. The staff were extremely helpful and even offered to let us put the bikes in their garage. The rooms were all very clean with nice bathrooms and beds are super comfy. Due its rural location we opted to eat in the restaurant in the evening and the food was extremely good and worth the 2 courses for 35 euros price. All the staff spoke good English which helped with our basic GCSE French. The hotel has its own bar with a good selection of local beers, etc.

Both Guido and his wife are friendly hosts, making you feel nothing is too much trouble. The auberge has outdoor seating both front and back of the property, offering sun or shade for a quiet drink of beer. Guido is a marvellous chef, I would be the size of a house if I had stayed longer. I was on a motorbike and was offered the use of their garage for overnight parking.

The staff is very friendly and the food is excellent for both breakfast and dinner. The hotel has a very pleasant garden with trees, flowers and fountains, with plenty reclining chairs to relax. We liked that there are plenty options for kids to play outdoors and indoors. Thanks again to the owners who made everything possible for having a pleasant stay.

A wonderful kayak trip from Vresse!

A wonderful kayak trip from Vresse! We had a delicious meal at La Petite Etable in Rochaut; a lovely walk from the B&B Au Naturel des Ardennes to Frahan; ultimate tranquility on the footbridge over the Semois.

For those who enjoy hiking, this chalet is an absolute must.

For those who enjoy hiking, this chalet is an absolute must. There are countless marked trails in the immediate vicinity or a little further afield in the surrounding villages (Poupehan, Corbion, Alle, etc.). We also really appreciated the bakery in the village.

A beautiful little village that delights us every time.

A beautiful little village that delights us every time. Everything is within walking distance. The walks are wonderful. There are many good restaurants. The brasserie offers great entertainment for the whole family with a visit to the animal park and its well-designed playground.

It's a really pretty village, with lots of walks and other...

It's a really pretty village, with lots of walks and other activities to do. Tourist information is easy to find. However, it's losing some of its rural character due to its popularity. Go for it if you're looking for easy tourism... or if you're capable of venturing off the beaten track on your own!

A pretty village in the Belgian Ardennes, but you'll need good legs as everything is hilly, and the parking lot above is large but sometimes full, requiring a climb back up. The shop selling local produce on the small square is highly recommended for its quality products, and don't hesitate to try the small Ardennes pipes – they're excellent. Plus, you'll find all the local beers.

Beautiful old hotel, feels like you are stepping into another time. Gives the cozy retro vibes. The garden is quite comfortable and relaxing to sit it, and you can get some drinks while there as well. The location is right next to the road, but on the top floor it was quiet.
