Proprietor is awesome. He came out late at night to pick us up at the Charleroi airport. Unfortunately the airport makes it expensive for him to pick up there, so we had to walk to a nearby gas station. It wasn't a bad walk but it was late, we were tired and it was drizzling. Still he saved us a pricey taxi to the hotel, and we were very grateful. He also gave us a ride back in the morning to catch our train. Again, he's one of the kindest people we've met in our travels. Our room was clean and comfortable for three adults. Great shower with plenty of hot water. We were only there overnight after our flight but we felt very welcomed. Excellent hospitality!

Great little hotel, what used to be known as a "Formula 1"; the facilities are basic, no frills, and both toilet and shower are shared, not in your room. The room itself is basic with a double bed and single bunk over, with a TV and washbasin, At reception are coffee and snack machines, and there is a microwave to use if you wish. If you're looking for "luxury" this won't be for you, but if you want a well-priced, en-route stopover close to the motorway then this is great, and the staff are super-friendly and helpful. WiFi is very good within the hotel, and car parking appears secure. Just 100m away across the road there is an excellent little Italian restaurant which was recommended to us at check-in where we thoroughly pigged out on some truly excellent pizza :)

I had a wonderful stay at Résidence Alissa. The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully prepared. Everything was exactly as described, and even better in person. The hosts were extremely friendly, responsive, and made me feel very welcome. The location is perfect, the atmosphere is peaceful, and all the small details in the apartment made my stay even more enjoyable. I truly appreciated the care and hospitality. I highly recommend Résidence Alissa to anyone visiting the area. I would definitely love to return!
