Arrived a little early for checking however welcomed in however we were welcomed in whilst waiting for rooms to be ready and offered a complimentary drink. The rooms were very clean and well equipped with everything from a hairdryer to a microwave, coffee machine to a kettle. Rainfall shower was a blessing after nearly 18 hours of travelling. Breakfast plentifuk with a good choice of meat and cheeses with fresh pain au chocolate from the local bakery. Lovely location and very peaceful. Perfect for relaxing. Missing it already

Perfect location, very central, the area is under restoration, but it is already in very good shape. We recently spent a couple nights in Brussels and very much enjoyed our stay at Pillows City Hotel. This is modern, well furnished and comfortable property along Parochiaanstraat, just a few minutes walk from Brussels Central Station. Reservation was made through booking.com where we found the lowest rates on the day. Booking confirmation received by email instantly. We were able to check in a couple hours early upon arrival which was very nice. Front desk were very helpful, assisted with arranging early morning taxi to the airport at the end of our trip and were just generally pleasant when we interacted with them. Property location is very good if you want to be close to Central Station and within walking distance to the main sightseeing areas around historic centre of Brussels. Quite a few restaurants and bars not far away. They have a restaurant at the hotel as well as a reading room as well. Our room was spacious, very nicely furnished. There was plenty of closet and drawer space, sizeable work area, in-room safe, fridge, espresso machine, nice bathroom, great shower water pressure, flat screen TV, good heating, lighting, wifi and importantly a very comfortable bed, allowing much needed rest. Overall, we liked the hotel location and staff and were very happy with our room at Pillows City Hotel. This was a great stay and place we'd be glad to return to during futures trips to Brussels.

It was central to all that we wanted to see and do.

It was central to all that we wanted to see and do. Having a car is important, it makes getting around easier. We did take a hop on hop off bus, as we do in most cities so that it will help us to know more of the history as well saving us a lot of walking. At our ages 77 & 72 walking all day isn't easy. In one day in Bruges, we visited the Grote Markt (Market Square) where we ate lunch, where my husband wanted to try climbing the Belfry tower [366 stairs]but the tickets were sold out and we explored Burg Square and its landmarks. Wish we had taken a canal cruise. For fun we visited the Bruges museum in virtual reality. We ate at several restaurants and found the food very good. For us the Thai restaurant was the best.

Beds. Easy to find though not easily explained about how to get to it travelling into Brussels direction. Reception guy helpful but we saw first hand how bad your customer service staff are in the phone as even the hotel guy was baffled by their idiocy.
