The room is very comfortable and spacious. I had a room facing the park. However the light shine so bright during the day that you barely get to enjoy the view, but it was still a good view. The restaurant serves yummy food and was a good place to sit and get some work done. The location is about 20 minutes walk to Nizami Street but it felt safe to walk day or night.

From the moment I arrived, the hospitality of the personnel was outstanding. The staff were not only professional and courteous but genuinely kind and attentive, making me feel welcome and comfortable throughout my stay. The hotel is well-equipped with modern and clean facilities, and the services offered were excellent — everything from housekeeping to room service was efficient and thoughtfully done. I would especially like to commend Samir, the supervisor, for his exceptional dedication and warm approach. He consistently went above and beyond to ensure guests had everything they needed and truly stood out with his professionalism and friendliness. Gulendam, the manager, provided fair and balanced service, managing the operations with care. Special thanks also to hostess Aynur, who was always cheerful and helpful, adding a personal touch to the experience. Overall, a very positive and enjoyable experience. Midtown Hotel exceeded my expectations, thanks to its great team and high standards.

We stayed at this hotel last week, and I must say — the location couldn’t have been better: very convenient, close to the city center, and everything was within walking distance. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. But what really stood out to me was the staff. The guy in the restaurant made my mornings so much brighter, and the reception team was unbelievably kind and polite. Thank you for this genuine Azerbaijani hospitality! I only remembered one name — Elmira — but all the other reception staff were just as wonderful. Thank you so much! I truly recommend this hotel from the heart. The only tiny thing I missed was having a mirror in the room.

Positive: Amazing city vibes, especially in the city center with lots of cafés, walking areas, tracks, pubs, and nightclubs. The city is quite affordable compared to Turkey or the Gulf. The weather is pleasant, Bolt taxis are cheap, and the metro is very convenient. Negative: Traffic can be heavy, especially on weekends, so it’s better to avoid taxis and use the metro instead. There is also a language barrier, as many people do not speak English.

Baku is a beautiful city with a rich history, great shopping, and delicious food. Minus is that it's not for a woman travelling alone, as the men are bold and rude when they approach. Of course, there are plenty of normal people; however, when you have rude taxi drivers and rude men sitting at your table without asking permission, it's awkward.

Thanks to its long and diverse history, Baku is truly a city of contrasts! From the old town to the modern parts of the city, as well as the rich culture, there is no time to be bored in Baku. Additionally, the food is amazing, and the city provides several great restaurant options to discover it! And if you want to go out of the city for a bit, there are several landmarks and other landscapes of Azerbaijan in day trip distance of the city, allowing to discover yet different beautiful views of the great Azerbaijan culture!

Baku was a revelation, with friendly, bon vivant people and history in abundance. We dined in local restaurants in the Old City, and enjoyed the same welcoming service throughout, not to mention tasty food. The juxtaposition of old colonial buildings and new high-tech LED clad buildings is amazing. Just go!

A wonderful well maintained modern city with all amenities...

A wonderful well maintained modern city with all amenities coupled with courteous people. Traffic, like any other cities, would not sometimes allow you to maintain your day schedule. All the tourist locations are well maintained with friendly personnel. A translator App in hand would be a bless at times. Shopping malls are wonderful with world renowned brands. Restaurants are available in plenty to suit to any culture.

I loved the old city, walking there, I also loved the modern...

I loved the old city, walking there, I also loved the modern art museum. The space is not enough, so I think that museum should be in the Heidar Aliyev Complex. Also, there many visit to do outside Baku

I stayed in four different hotels in Baku and this was my favourite. The apartment is large, very clean and with a very comfortable bed. There is also a washer/dryer in the kitchen, which is really convenient. Location is exceptional, in the city centre of Baku and 2 minutes walk from Sahil metro. Finally, the owner of the apartment is really kind, responsive and easy to communicate with. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in Baku!
