Azerbaijan is a year-round destination with places of interest for every traveller. Easy visa regime, good food (not diverse) and great people. Sheki, Gabala and Shahdag are beautiful cities with great natural scenery and a fully functional skiing facilities just few hours flight from Major counties of Asia.

Baku is an interesting city.

Baku is an interesting city. It has a modern, developed, unpersonalized side, but also an old, traditional side with preserved local flavor. It is a successful mix and is constantly developing. I recommend eating in the Neftci area, right next to the metro. And to better discover the city and its surroundings, I recommend a trip with a local guide.

I stayed at Liman Hotel Baku for 3 nights and honestly it was a great experience overall. The hotel is located in a very convenient area, close to the Old City and the boulevard, so I could easily walk to most places without needing a taxi. The room was clean, comfortable and quiet at night, and the bed was actually better than I expected for this price range. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Every time I asked for directions or needed information, they gave really clear answers and even recommended some local food places which I ended up loving. Wi-Fi worked perfectly (which is VERY important for me because I work remotely), and the check-in/check-out process was fast and smooth. For the price, location, and service — I think it’s definitely worth it. I’ll stay here again next time I come to Baku.

The city is beautiful, and the architecture is very European styled. I read that its called Paris of Asia; and when i saw ,it i believed the same. In terms of things to do, it has a limited menu and thus good for 3 days only. Just a warning that there are many properties listed on boooking.com as Apartment by Marriott or Hyatt; all these are scams and are fake; dont book them.

This is the best hotel for its price in Baku. The rooms are much larger than what I expected, it feels like living in a castle. The place is kept exceptionally clean, and the host is nice. There are kitchen, tea, drinking water, and washing machine provided. The location is great too, there are affordable coffee shops on the same street, and Bravo market just behind, and the Old City and Icerisheher metro station just 5 minutes walk from it, Fountain square is also just down the street. Incredible location.

The hotel is a traditional Azeri house within the old city of Baku, remodeled and modernized but maintaining its stone structure. The bathroom is modern and equipped with everything. Air conditioning in the room comfortable bed, towels and blanket. They informed us of a commission but they still let us pay by credit card. Excellent location. Our stay was great

The location of the hotel was perfect for exploring Baku, especially the old city. We also visited the city for the grand prix and again the location was right next to the metro as we needed one stop to reach our entrance. The room was good with a special mention to the comfortable bed.
