Breakfast is included, the staff are super friendly and helpful, there’s free WiFi (which is great for travelers like myself), and it’s right across the street from a restaurant and close to other restaurants. There’s complimentary water, tea, & coffee upstairs in the lobby area and there’s a patio (this would’ve been really nice there was a view. This hotel isn’t in the best area so when you look out from the patio you see older buildings.) The room has a full length mirror, iron, and mini fridge. If you just want somewhere to sleep while you travel, this is it.

We have stayed in many condos but this apartment was absolutely the best. Steps from the beach, restaurants and market all within walking distance. We did explore the island but you could stay here and never leave the property. Clean, well equipped kitchen, a big pool, all very convenient. Thank you to the host for being so welcoming and catering to all our needs. Highly recommend the apartment, except on those weeks when we want to rent it.

A Perfect Family Getaway at Aloe B&B Our stay at Aloe B&B in Aruba was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with genuine warmth by Mariel and Dirk, the wonderful hosts who clearly put so much love and care into every detail of this beautiful vacation rental. The environment is serene, charming, and very family-friendly—perfect for our family of four. We especially loved the outdoor kitchen and dining area, where we had the pleasure of connecting with other guests over meals and conversations. The lush garden adds a peaceful, tropical vibe that made every moment feel like a retreat. The rooms and premises were spotless and very well maintained, and our kids had an absolute blast enjoying the pool. One of the sweetest surprises was meeting Bella, Mariel and Dirk’s lovely dog—so gentle, calm, and friendly with all the guests. She truly added an extra layer of comfort and joy to our stay. Location-wise, it couldn’t be better—right in Oranjestad, with most major attractions just a short drive away. The airport is also conveniently close (about 6–8 minutes), which made our arrival and departure super easy. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay and can’t recommend Aloe B&B enough—especially for families or anyone looking for a peaceful, welcoming, and centrally located spot in Aruba. My first hotel was Windcreek Renaissance Oceanside for 5 nights it was excellent. I was bump off my flight leaving on Sunday afternoon so I needed a room for one extra night. The Hyatt is right next to the airport which was perfect for me because my flight was early on Monday.

I stayed downtown because it was easy from the cruise ship...

I stayed downtown because it was easy from the cruise ship and I only had 2 nights. I thought there would be more shopping and restaurants and such … but it was either super high end jewelry or tourist trinkets. Obviously most people go out to the resort hotels. For my purposes it was fine … my hotel was nice, with good facilities and I did a nice island tour. I would not stay there for longer than a night or two … but for that it was great.

Aruba has really nice spots: the beaches, and the dramatic surf at Arikok National Park. Oranjestad, though, is populated mostly by American tourists, and everything in the city (except the parliament, I guess) exists primarily for these people.

The local restaurants of downtown Oranjestad were excellent with reasonable prices relative to the NY/NJ area. These restaurants were a quick (10-15 mins) and safe walk from the Renaissance Wind Creek marina property. Among the best restaurants on Wilhelminastraat: Yemanja Woodfired Grill; Restaurant Anno 1877; Wilhelmina Restaurant; Taste My Aruba; El Gaucho. Caya was an amazing restaurant in the Palm Beach section a short cab ride ($15) from the Wind Creek marina. It's easy to access some good shopping in the marina resort and directly behind the property.

Oranjestad is central there are many things to do from there. Close to the airport, shopping area, the beach if you don't mind walking. It's not quite like the tourist area but it has its own flair. 1 bus ride can take you into that hustle and bustle then return to a more lighter side of vibes.

Great apartment, very well located, at the heart of Oranjestad close to fine restaurants and at the same Time very quiet. The host Daniela was amazing, giving the right information just when I needed (I booked very short notice). The fitness center is a bit small, but just enough to go through the days. There is a parking lot in the area and 24h security, which were very helpful.

The room was the best of the three I had during my stay in Aruba.Loved it. Clean and fresh. The terrace was beautiful but I could only use it for a limited time at a time due to the mosquitoes. Even if the location is very good at Surfside Beach and Oranjestad, I preferred to stay at Eagle Beach or Palm Beach
