Simple refurbished rooms. Covered parking. Nice ensuite bathroom. Very private but close the the hotel for meals and drinks. Suggest you book for dinner as they are very busy. Good food and very friendly helpful staff

Wow the views to the bay from the enclosed back deck were amazing. Only meters to the ocean and restaurants a very short distance away. Very dog friendly, beds and bowls for the fur children were provided. They had kayaks and boogie boards there to use, not that we had time in our short stay but I will definitely keep in mind for next time. Everything was fresh and clean. Newly renovated. The kitchen has more than you ever need, very well equipped. Very spacious, plenty of seating upstairs and down. Fully air conditioned. Beds were comfortable. The games room downstairs was great. It was equipped with a reading room, computer room and full bathroom/ laundry. It has more than you ever thought you needed. Highly recommend.

Time to sit back and relax from the business of life.

Time to sit back and relax from the business of life. Woodgate beach is a very relaxing place to go for a holiday. The bowls club is a nice place for a feed and a drink. Woodgate is an easy place to drive around and walking along the beach is peaceful and to get some sand between your toes. Loved my time at Woodgate. The park next to the bowls club was great for the kids to have a play.

You can get a good meal at the Bowling Club which is within...

You can get a good meal at the Bowling Club which is within walking distance from the park. They also have a courtesy bus available that you can make use of. The Woodgate Hotel serves excellent meals and also has a courtesy bus. Best to book at the Hotel as it’s busy on Friday and Saturday. Staff at both venues are excellent.

Woodgate Beach is a short drive from Bundaberg and it has a...

Woodgate Beach is a short drive from Bundaberg and it has a “sleepy beach town” vibe. There are a several places to get lunch or dinner in town and the food and service is great at all of them. The beach itself is very clean, safe for all ages, great for swimming of all ages too. The accommodation available is wide spread from camp sites to great homes for rent. I highly recommend Woodgate Beach as a destination on anyone’s list!

Clean town and beach.

Clean town and beach. We had pizza at the general store our first night, toppings were very generous and the pizzas were a good size. Second night we ate at the pub at the pier end, food was very good there also. Very friendly staff.

I love the serenity of Woodgate.

I love the serenity of Woodgate. It is quiet, even though we were there on the weekend of their annual fishing competition!! The locals are friendly and helpful, as are the staff at the NRMA caravan park. The sunrises are absolutely a must and stunning! The only downfall is that it is quite a drive from larger towns and shops, but if you bring everything that you need for your stay, this is not a problem. I'd go back to Woodgate again!

The cafe on the Beach Holiday Park and the Woodgate Hotel.

The cafe on the Beach Holiday Park and the Woodgate Hotel. The beach that goes on forever and not crowded. It is a lovely area to explore. I would not go to the bowls club again. It is a cosy club for members but not welcoming to visitors and food is ordinary and expensive for what it is. The other end of the strip Woodgate Hotel has a welcoming atmosphere and staff and the meals are superb no matter what you order and it is a very comfortable dining room.
