Amazing as pub was extremely busy with Xmas parties and so noisy we thought oh no here we go But as soon as you walked in the hotel area and closed the door you could not hear a peep The room was huge 4 great size beds a beautiful bathroom heaps of fluffy fresh towels Air conditioning could use a service in room 3 wasn't really cold only cool but that's the only negative So so good The food was wonderful in the pub nice cold beers the cocktail page was vast selection I was just super impressed with the limited amount of noise between the room and the pub so pleasantly surprised 🤨

This is a relatively new build and it shows, the facilities and rooms were exceptionally clean and well appointed. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the housekeeping were excellent. As with most hotels of this type in Australia there's an excellent sports pub right next door with great meal/drink choices and entertainment. The hotel is 5 minutes drive from the centre of town where free parking is always available

Room was beautiful, very clean and appreciated the daily effort of housekeeping staff. Room service for lunch and dinner was delicious and fast. Pool layout was awesome, lots of space both in pool and out.

The staff on the reception were wonderful we didnt know that there was so much to do at new castle and they were very helpful guiding us to all the attractions and restauraunts. The room was quite spacious as well and the location was 5 - 10 minutes from all the major points.

The accommodation part is a let down.

The accommodation part is a let down. Small dated rooms, very basic bathroom lacking shelf / bench space. Bed is comfortable but curtains above bed let in lots of light as they are not against window frame so was hard to get to sleep with so much light coming in. Downstairs pub area and food was great.

I love the food, the rooms & the outlook - it's amazing for...

I love the food, the rooms & the outlook - it's amazing for the price. Would highly recommend staying there. My only comment is if you have trouble with stairs, as theirs no lift to the rooms. It's a beautiful place for a lovely walk before dinner.

Macquarie 4 star was good for me as it was close to...

Macquarie 4 star was good for me as it was close to amenities, had a good vibe and my room was quite and looked out over the creek. It was nice to wake up and see all the paddlers and people enjoying the water. The staff was excellent too and helped me with my requests. I will definitely stay there again.

The expected usual area was not the Toronto area. The lake is just stunning and the people lovely. My entire experience was highly satisfactory. Warners Bay is a set of diamonds in the tiara that is Lake Mac!

Warners Bay is located on beautiful Lake Macquarie and has all the amenities a traveller could need. Easy walking trails along the lakeside and plenty of shops, cafes and restaurants. Easy access to other areas of Newcastle and is a very pleasant place to stay.

Dirty room not cleaned to the required standard dirty towel...

Dirty room not cleaned to the required standard dirty towel from previous guest in the room hair and urine on bathroom floor hand prints on wall and shower glass Bed pushed up against wall allowing access to one side only. Over all the room was dirty . the Noise was bad with other guest and children making noise well after 11pm at night should have families with children away from other guest with out noise children very poor management not helpfully at all owner was advised of issues but no response or no follow up from management or staff.

The location of the "hotel" is about the only thing that is positive. I would not recommend it to anyone, the facilities and the soundproofing needs serious upgrading if they want to use this as accommodation. The 3 stars are hardly justified more like a 2 star motel!

Convenient location. Bottom level room have easy access for people traveling with gear for sporting events. Plenty of food choices handy at Warners Bay. Awesome Coffee Van out the front.
