I thought the property looked beautiful in picture, but it was even better in real life! Every corner was so thoughfully designed and decorated! The place was so cosy, with stunning view of the ranges from the backyard, Brad and Lisa were exceptional hosts, making the end to end process so seamless with warm hospitality. They even printed a guide and a welcome chocolate for us. Everyone in our group were so mesmerised with the house, thr views and everything about our stay. I booked it as I was having my wedding thr next day, the bedding were perfect. All of us had such a s restful night! Really incredible stay and we would definitely comeback in a heartbeat if we go towards warburton in the future!

Never expected this place would be like this for the price i paid , Went with my family including my intended Daughter in law who visited us from Sri Lanka, we were sad to leave the place spending one night. it was very easy to find the place and the instructions/guidance pasted from the main door to the restroom or on the coffee machine made so informative and easy, user friendly. the owner had gone in to so much detailed to make a stay so convenient and comfortable. If you are a book worm dont take any as there is some thing for every one , the view from the balcony in the morning the greenery reminded me of Sri Lanka So much to say.. One of the BEST places we have ever been We all felt Its a "Home away from Home.." Will surly be back .. all the very best to Olga

Loved absolutely everything from the moment we pulled up The cottage itself was gorgeous, the tea coffee station was very generous and the breakfast the next day was perfect, eaten out on the deck listening to the native wildlife and trickling stream. The Spa was the icing on the cake, pre warmed, clean and ready to go upon arrival. I can't wat to visit again❤️

A very small town, lovely to walk along the upper Yarra...

A very small town, lovely to walk along the upper Yarra River however there is not much to do in the main town. The Alpine Hotel was very nice to stop in for a drink. We stopped by Warburton because of the red-wood forests and some nice trails and scenery.

What a fascinating and quirky town with some great places for coffee and walks along the river. Close to the mountains for a hike or sit in the amazing Alpine bar and look over the river and mountains. Great shopping. Very pleasant spot

We liked the peace and quiet of where the motel was located...

We liked the peace and quiet of where the motel was located in Warburton and its location on the side of a hill, which gave us great views of the countryside. The town itself had a variety of eating places and shops and was easily reached by car from Melbourne.

The Redwood forest is gorgeous.

The Redwood forest is gorgeous. Lovely staff at the local IGA - Kerry. Babajis Indian restaurant had delicious halal food. The creek that runs through town is delightful and you can picnic on the bank, as well as cool off in the water. Silva cafe is the perfect place for good coffee. I even bought some to bring back home. Warburton is stunning, I can't wait to visit again. A few antique shops to check out.

Plenty of wonderful walking tracks near Warburton.

Plenty of wonderful walking tracks near Warburton. The highlights were the Rainforest Gallery, Redwoods forest, Yarra River walking trail, La La Falls, and we spent one full day over near Marysville visiting several waterfalls and walking though the rain forests.

We only stayed one night to see the snow at close by Mount...

We only stayed one night to see the snow at close by Mount Donna Buang which was amazing and luckily there good snowfall overnight. We didn't know we were supposed to carry chains with our 2 wheel drive. We stumbled upon the beautiful Rainforest Gallery. Upon leaving we noticed there were many hiking trails and river side trails. I would love to visit again outside of winter, but will definitely come back again in winter and autumn/spring for some hiking and exploring the town.

Property was very clean and bright. All rooms were a good size and beds comfortable. Driveway access to the property was not difficult. Refrigerators were both a good sizes. Three bathrooms made it easy for showering and getting ready in morning for early starts. Location was great for morning walks and central for drives in the Warburton & Yarra Valley region. We didn't see a lot of wildlife around the property but the Red King Parrots in the morning were beautiful.

Riverwood cottage was beautiful for our weekend stay in Warburton. The cottage itself was stunning, renovated to match its historic architectural beautifully. Lovely warm wood fireplace, bedrooms were stunning which included an en suite and second bathroom. The surrounding scenery was beautiful and the cottage was a short drive into the main street of Warburton. Value for money I will definitely stay again.
