Staying at The Castle at Bonville was truly a magical experience. Even though we only stayed for one night, it felt like we had stepped into a fairytale. The castle is beautifully designed, full of character, and surrounded by peaceful nature. It’s hard to believe a place like this exists in Australia! The grounds are stunning – lush greenery, fresh air, and the sounds of nature all around. In the morning, we were delighted to see colorful Australian parrots flying through the trees, making the whole setting feel even more magical. Shan and Donald are absolutely wonderful hosts. You can truly feel the love and care they’ve poured into this place. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel incredibly welcome. And the breakfast – what a highlight! It was honestly better than any breakfast we’ve had at the Four Seasons. Every dish was delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and beautifully presented. This wasn’t just an overnight stay – it was a memorable experience we’ll treasure.

The booking process and arrival and departure process was very easy and hassle free. Chantelle responded very promptly to all my inquiries, and was accommodating as possible, whilst taking other bookings into account. This property is the best value for money I have ever spent. It is absolutely stunning, a home away from home surrounded by the most tranquil setting imaginable. I wish I never had to leave. Unfortunately we only had one night there, arriving late due to our plans therefore, did not get to experience what the locality had to offer. Directions were precise and easy to follow and just a short distance from Coffs, I'm sure there would be plenty to do.
