Parking on site. An entire one bedroom home with everything you have in a normal home, inc a bath. Even a litre of milk in the fridge and TimTams on the table. We loved how it was furnished; a mixture of white/beech Skandi and vintage furniture, nice decorations and bed linen and healthy plants. The only difference between our house and this place, was that it was spotlessly clean 😊

Close to everything on the main street, and short walk to the Tanunda Hotel where my work dinner/drinks was. Was a great night, great meals, staff were very helpful and everyone enjoyed themselves.

Tanunda has some great restaurants and is the perfect location to stay when exploring the Barossa Valley. It feels like a very safe area and the people are exceptionally friendly. If I return to the Barossa, I would definitely choose Tanunda again.

Quaint very clean little town, excellent Drakes supermarket. Great breakfast at Blackbird cafe. Lunchtime at the Tanunda bakery and cafe was the best! Would have liked to explore more however temperatures were too hot for walking that day..

Great town, some very good cafes and restaurants. Hired bikes and rode to Nuri and Angaston on the old train track. Went to Seppeltsfield, Jam Factory and Staguni in the old schoolhouse - it was all wonderful.

Lots of cafes and restaurants.

Lots of cafes and restaurants. My partner is vegan and there were plenty of options - special mention to Four Seasons of Nosh for the vegan breakfast and Harvest Kitchen at Jacob's Creek for a fancy date night dinner (we had the vegan menu). Tanunda is surrounded by beautiful wineries, which was the purpose of our trip. We spent a lovely couple of days there.

The local bars and restaurants were great.

The local bars and restaurants were great. They were busy for school holidays but staff were always willing to help out and get you a spot. Bar Musque in Tanunda was a highlight! Amazing food and gin - staff were exceptional and super helpful. The little shops and the main drag is a great spot to have wine or coffee with the nicest produce around. We loved it.

A great little town. Friendly store keepers. Lots of goodies to be found. And (most important for me,) the terrain is perfect to leave the car at the hotel and go for a long long walk! We brought our own food - mainly to save the pennies and the facility worked for us.

I had a lovely stay at the historic Goat Square Cottages. Located in a quiet street just a five minute walk from the Main Street, where there are coffee shops and restaurants. The property itself was immaculate; a lovely bath (with jets!), comfortable bed, excellent WiFi and the breakfast provisions were much appreciated. If you visit Tanunda, I recommend visiting Artisans of Barossa for a tasting; Jonathan was brilliant!

Great location for visiting many wineries. It is a little out of Tanunda, so will need to drive into town for meals. Our room was at the front but did not hear the traffic at all. Room was spacious, however the bathroom is very small. Breakfast was excellent! Shared dining room was great way to meet other guests and share places to visit. Complementary Port in room to finish day.

The relaxed ambience of the hotel is so welcoming and me and my wife felt at home from the minute we drove in. The reception was warm, and being welcomed into our room with a bottle of wine was exceptionally sweet. The room was comfortable and relaxing. We dined in, and the food was yummy. The breakfast buffet area set-up was so beautifully done, an instant appetite trigger.

What a gem of a property this was! Not only are the hosts so lovely and accommodating the apartment itself was spacious,beautifully decorated and more importantly very clean. Pirathon Country Estate is close to Tanunda which is such a lovely town with wonderful eateries. Honestly could not fault this place and our only regret is that we didn’t stay longer.
