Such a great location to the beach and esplanade walk. Sparkling pool with nearby birds offered a nice relaxing place to swim. Balcony had lovely view and a nice spot to have brekky. Comfortable beds and newly renovated bathroom.

We arrived in the middle of a storm, with no phone or radio...

We arrived in the middle of a storm, with no phone or radio reception host greeted us and gave us information on what was happening and where was available to eat that evening. Very useful. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Undercover parking was handy. The following morning we were able to walk across the road to beach and beautiful park ways. Would stay there again, didn't have the opportunity to use the pool, appeared well maintained.

I have been to Tannum Sands a few times and it is quite pleasant with numerous walks to explore but the weather this time was showers most of the time. Several good eateries there like the pub and surf club.

Tannum Sands was the perfect stop on the way home from...

Tannum Sands was the perfect stop on the way home from Airlie Beach to Gold Coast. So nice to park right outside our room, walk into adjoining tavern for a drink and then dinner in outside setting with lovely sea view. Bought wine from onsite store and watched moon rise from our own patio. Room was equipped with plates, glasses and even breakfast cereal and milk. Shops were next door if we had needed anything.

Great beach community with lots to see and do locally as well as a base for day trips . Great fish and chips and an amazing buffet Chinese restaurant where the food and service was so good we went twice. Great place for cycling around. Make sure you have insect repellent Fire pits allowed

The manageress 🥰🥰🥰. I did not get her name but she was the one who is on permanent nightshift! Her father was the policeman in Tannum Sands She lives opposite the Hotel. I had a medical event unfortunately and she helped me in a kind and caring way. This young lady is ripe for promotion somewhere.

We only stayed one night as it was a stopover. Very nice view of the beach. The end parking spot was good for us as we were able to park our Prado and access our room, on the end, easily. Surprisingly quiet. We went the Tannum Sands Hotel up the road for dinner and had a very good meal.

Always a pleasure to stay with the guys at Tannum Sands Discovery Park..staff are very friendly and attentive and the amenities are always clean and comfortable...such a relaxing space ...hand feeding kookaburras and watching the peacocks roam is just a perfect way to unwind
