It was spacious for our family of 5 and very clean. It had everything we needed for our stay. We were in eucalypt cottage 2 and it had the sweetest yard at the back with space for the kids to play, and stairs that lead down to the main park. The pools were great, again very clean, and the whole space was very kid friendly. We will definitely visit again.

We have driven past the turn off so many times and said we must go one day and now we have, what a great spot to visit, great beaches and plenty of choices for places to eat at. You can spend your days relaxing at numerous beaches, everything is within walking distance, The weather was perfect, we couldn’t have picked a better place to visit, I would highly recommend you visit here.

Soth West Rocks is a lovely Seaside Town, with alot going...

Soth West Rocks is a lovely Seaside Town, with alot going for it. A walk up to the Lighthouse is lovely, and the Gaol. We went on a River Boat trip, and learnt alot about the river and Wetlands. Little Bay Beach, not for away is worth a look at as well.

A hidden gem which we hadn't discovered . Its well worth the deviation off the highway- A must see for holidays in the future. One of the prettiest locations on the north coast ,beaches are beautiful. Near is Trial Bay gaol, impressive and interesting also with gorgeous beaches near, yet uncommercialised and very accessible

SWR is a special place.

SWR is a special place. The drive in from the either the highway or Kempsey is scenic. There is so much to see including Trial Bay and surrounds, beautiful beaches, fishing, walks and overall scenery.

The best thing about South West Rocks is the Back Creek...

The best thing about South West Rocks is the Back Creek Bridge and the hiking available in the area. The water at Back Creek Bridge at High Tide is amazingly blue with some snorkeling throughout the inlet. Whilst on this stay we did the hike between Trial Bay to the Smoky Cape Lighthouse which is approx 15-18km. It was a challenging but fun hike with a few inclines that raised the heart rate. Beautiful views along the way and we were the only ones on the hike. The best place we found to eat was Chop 'n' Chill. They had perfect portion sizing and flavorful food!

Feels like a bit of undiscovered gem, but maybe it was because we were probably there at the end of the school holidays (mid Jan). Beaches are beautiful – some of the best I've ever seen. Kangaroos grazing everywhere was magical. Nice local and charming feel.

We have stayed here a few times, twice in a spa cabin and once in a waterfront cabin, both of which were very comfortable. The park is located on South West Rocks Creek, making it so peaceful. The park has a track access which takes you to the Back Creek footbridge which you can cross to access the Back Beach or continue on to the boardwalk which takes you to Horseshoe Bay and into town. If you have never been here before, go for a visit, you want be disappointed.

Fantastic location - right on the heart of South West Rocks. We could walk everywhere, and rode our bicycles to Trial Bay on the bike track. The house was modern and spacious, with a comfortable bed and good kitchen. It was great to have use of the washing machine, and a beautiful deep bath was welcome at the end of the day.

I loved being in an older style house fitted up as a hotel. The location was excellent for us. Renee was helpful and pleasant. We personally liked being able to put together our breakfast in the common area kitchen with the ingredients in the pantry. The verandah out the front was nice to sit at with a cup of tea.

The room was connected to the hotel which had an excellent outlook, very good food and a good selection of drinks. The whole place had a really nice vibe - the only downer is that we didn't win the meat tray!
