Ritz service from check in to check out was exceptional. Hospitality is top notch. Bed was comfortable, location was perfect, view of the Swan River and Elizabeth Quey were breathtaking. I also like the design and interior of the rooms that are very well thought of.

FAQs about hotels in Perth

Serene as the Swan

Sun-drenched and laidback, Perth is simply a joy to be in. However, the West Australian capital does have tourist attractions, such as the Colonial-era mint, important in the country’s gold industry. East is the WACA, a must-see for cricket fans, and the city is also mad for Aussie Rules football.

The city centre has the historic Government House and Supreme Court, both dwarfed by the ultra-modern skyscrapers a few streets behind. The best skyline view is from leafy King’s Park, near the War Memorial overlooking the Swan River below, named after its black swans. Across the river in Perth Zoo are more native animals including koalas, crocodiles and free-hopping kangaroos.

Boats to the zoo leave from the Barrack Street jetty by a sail-shaped bell tower. Other day trips from Perth include Rottnest Island and Fremantle, down the river in the opposite direction from Perth Airport.

The apartments, B&Bs and hotels in Perth are spread all over this fantastic city, interspersed with restaurants serving specialities such as western rock lobster and chilli mussels. There is also a wealth of bars, many playing the indie music that the city is known for. Local brews from the Swan Brewery and wines from the Swan Valley vineyards round off the evening.

Fantastic city that shows its prosperity via the investments...

Fantastic city that shows its prosperity via the investments by the local councils in keeping everything so clean, tidy and safe. The distances from city to beaches and wineries are all mostly less than 30 minutes to 60 minutes. Lots of attractions to meet everyone’s needs. Must visit the Elizabeth Quay precinct, beaches (Fremantle, Scarborough, Sorrento, Cottesloe, Swan Valley,Rottnest Island, Burswood precinct and CBD parks).

Perth is beautiful city.

Perth is beautiful city. Quiet and the people are very good , the people helped us a lot, they helped us to show the bus stop and told us where to catch the train etc. The food was excellent. We loved the rottnest island tour and the Perth museum. We spent one day at Freemantle prison, and strolled the Freemantle market. It was very multicultural. Perth was very easy to get around in public transport. We ate at Panda China and Rise Cafe an Indian restautant, the butter chicken and roti were superb.

Perth is an amazing city.

Perth is an amazing city. Not yet a 24/7 city makes it unique in that you still need to plan around shopping hours, attractions opening times, restaurant places and Sunday trading restrictions. There is a great public transport system available, not forgetting taxis and uber services also. The fact is, Perth is about to explode. With a population just above two million, expansion will be quick as it was in the Eastern States cities. Moving forward, development of infrastructure, essential services and the like will need to be addressed immediately in order to nurture the cities character, whilst providing a welcoming atmosphere for visitors. I can't wait to see Perth's natural beauty, climate and history become a must destination for all travellers when visiting Australia.

Perth CBD was very vibrant with lots of festive charm.

Perth CBD was very vibrant with lots of festive charm. A very clean city. Scarborough was okay but a bit of a tourist trap. Much of our stay focussed on Fremantle which was great, with lots of interesting places to visit, nice restaurants and some great pubs. The Maritime Museum, the Old Gaol and the Gage Road Brewery were all highlights well worth visiting. Darling Darling, an old ship themed bar, is worthy of a special mention.

it’s not a hotel but a small number of en suite room / apartments in a lovely building in central Perth. The room is big enough with good facilities and some thoughtful and practical touches that were very appreciated. I was also able to leave my case while I explored Perth after I’d checked out.
