The cabins ,the grounds, were extremely clean. Very well maintained park . Very quiet park .. We stayed in a small cabin, it was enough for our needs . There are plenty of cooking facilities inside the cabin , plates , wine glasses, and utensils. Full-size fridge , TV , air conditioner There was plenty clean , modern bedding for all beds and plenty towels. Full size Toiletries were available, too Kids entertainment were great, water fountain pool for the little ones, a bigger pool for older kids. The staff were very helpful,friendly, and accommodating . The park is a 20 min walk from town,pier, water , cafes, pub, to the ferry to Raymond Island. Tucked away from the street noise . I highly recommend the stay .

It's a lovely place. the environment is so nice and peaceful. we arrived there after office hour and so they staff arranged contactless check-in for us, which was smooth. We were welcome by a group of ducks and birds outside the front door. i think they are used to getting close to people living there. on booking.com, you can only choose a house with a king bed and two queen beds or one house with a king bed, one room with queen and one room with twins. but they actually have some apartments with two rooms with twin beds. So they moved us to an apartment with one king bed, and two rooms with twin beds. they provided us two small packs of cloth washing powder. Beds are comfortable. we enjoyed our stay.

Paynesville is a beautiful township by the water with plenty of good variety of eating places. It's well worth taking a water taxi ride to Raymond Island (no vehicle needed) to check out the koalas. A beautiful tranquil place. We saw 7 koalas.

We absolutely loved our stay in Paynesville!

We absolutely loved our stay in Paynesville! It’s such a peaceful and beautiful spot — calm water views, fresh air, and the most relaxing vibe. We enjoyed every minute walking by the waterfront and watching the sunset from our apartment. The town is quiet, friendly, and has everything you need for a perfect getaway. Definitely wish we could’ve stayed longer! Can’t wait to come back again soon.

Paynesville is a beautiful place to visit with a marina, close proximity to Gippsland lakes, rivers and towns. It has good restaurants, cafes and bakeries and also a well stocked supermarket to cater for families. It's also a boating and fishing heaven.

Great walks to see birds and kangaroos in the wild.

Great walks to see birds and kangaroos in the wild. Raymond Island is worth more than one visit. Look at koalas and take the flora walk. The ferry is free for walk ons. A great base for day trips to Bainsdale and the hot Springs at Metung. (Book at peak holiday times)visit the pretty town at Metung too.

Paynesville will appeal to those looking to slow down and enjoy nature. Nestled in the Gippsland lakes, the town offers many trails, long days on the water and scenic sun sets.. The Sunday markets are great! IGA stocks all you need ….

A relaxing destination with lovely views lovely restaurants...

A relaxing destination with lovely views lovely restaurants and a wonderful cafe I enjoyed called Ginnys .Beautiful Raymond Island is a 3-minute Ferry Ride away to an island full of beautiful walking tracks, views and native Australian animals. Highly recommend Paynesville for a quiet destination to visit with gorgeous Gippsland Lake views.

The location is excellent in Paynesville. It was great to have a washer and dryer. The bed was comfortable as were the pillows. It was nice to look out on the canal with its birdlife including a few swans. Bathroom and kitchen were great and adequately equipped for our needs.

There's not much to do in Paynesville itself, but this house is a great base for trips around the Lake Entrance area. This House is Very clean, modern and well renovated, and most importantly comfortable annd warm (it’s a winter now ! 😄) inside.

Proximity to the water and Paynesville town were the highlights. The mooring was excellent and our main reason for picking this venue. Accomodation was comfortable and well appointed. We would certainly stay again at this time of year.
