AustraliaThe house had a very warm & welcoming vibe. Plenty of natural light and lovely garden views.
The bathrooms were modern & clean, the kitchen had all the utensils required for cooking, though our stay was short so we didn’t cook much.
The sheep & alpacas next door were a great hit with our kids who loved feeding them. And the outdoor bath was a special addition.
The hosts left plenty of brochures for local attractions, a few special items including a bottle of wine, marshmallows & a complimentary Gin. Netflix was available too. Everything about the property was lovely.

Nelson is a small settlement at the mouth of the Glenelg...
Nelson is a small settlement at the mouth of the Glenelg River. The main attraction is the surf beach and the shallow waters in Discovery Bay and Oxbow Lake which attract black swans and countless coast loving birds.
The river and the shorelines are very scenic.
Being such a small settlement, as can be expected the facilities are somewhat sparse, although the Nelson Hotel is a focal point offering excellent cold beer on tap and meals.
