People in Myrtleford were friendly and very very pleasant. Went to the Farmers Market yesterday (Saturday 23.8) and met some of the producers and farmers and the goods I bought were fresh and delicious. I recommend going to their Farmers Market if you get a chance. It is a monthly event.

Lovely country town, well located central to the high...

Lovely country town, well located central to the high country with skiing in winter and cycling/ hiking in summer, great local wineries, and excellent gourmet foods. Variety of shopping from the major stores to the smaller local boutique business, and two excellent bakeries as well as many and varied eateries, from the country pub to the local Italian club and the many smaller cafes. Do yourself a favour and visit Myrtelford for yourselves, you won't regret your visit. Relax and Enjoy!

We were in the area to ride the rail trails and Myrtleford...

We were in the area to ride the rail trails and Myrtleford is in a good location for that purpose. It is central to other towns in the area. Reclaim cafe and the Happy Valley hotel were two favoured places to eat. The mosaic walk along the Ovens river is very pleasant.

This motel is well positioned at the entrance to the town...

This motel is well positioned at the entrance to the town however, the entry could be somewhat confusing at night - lighting guides. There would appear be upgrading ad moderisation in progress which will elevate the property appeal. The greeting at reception felt more like an induction rather that a welcome - somewhat stressed. We wish the owners well.

Quaint little town with some good pubs, restaurants and great friendly locals, very close to all the main tourist spots. Also has Coles, BWS and some great takeaways if you prefer to eat ack at the motel.

We were pleasantly surprised by this beautiful town as we...

We were pleasantly surprised by this beautiful town as we were just stopping overnight on our way into Bright. Myrtleford has showcased to us the golden brown foliage and light purple sky during the sunset. The streets are very neat and clean. It has good walking trails, nice places for dinner and coffee in the morning and the manager at the i is most friendly and helpful! I would highly recommend a visit to this lovely alpine country community.

John, our host was friendly and communicative. We all (3 couples) absolutely loved Saje's house and pod. The accommodation was excellent in all respects. The photos don't do it justice. Well equipped, modern, spacious, thoughtfully designed and excellent value. Great balcony areas overlooking Myrtleford and beautiful sunsets. Quietly backing on to bushland and wildlife whilst also being a short stroll into town. Amongst the best accommodation we have stayed in. Thanks for the privilege of staying in your accommodation John.

Beautiful ideal setting with mountain views for meditating and just chilling. Loved the friendly host always checking all's well. The only thing if you come Monday Tuesday the two eateries in that area are closed and it's an half hour drive to Myrtleford to find eateries. However there is a lovely kitchen with all amenities so come packed with food if you are coming on these days. Otherwise an excellent spot.

Stayed in a 3 bed cabin which we got on special. Beautiful cabin. Spacious, comfy, modern with everything you needed for 5 nights. Lots of cooking tools. Couldn’t fault it. We chose Myrtleford as it was a good base for us. 5 min walk into town to restaurants and supermarket etc. Perfect.
