Krista had covered every base; everything was perfect (bandaids, yoga mats, chilly bin (esky) & picnic rug, lollies & chocs, extensive breakfast supplies, outdoor gas bbq - even an ongoing jigsaw! A stunning unit with an expansive deck and wonderful views. Wished we could have stayed longer.

Everything , could not fault one thing. Most beautful country house. Very comfy beds, equipped Kitchen, the whole house was sparkling clean. The view was amazing of the water and the boats, with a magnificent garden surrounding the property. I did not want to leave. So peaceful. Would love to go back there one day and stay longer. Easy access to the key box and parking. Nicest place I have ever stayed in.

The location was very good; I could feel the atmosphere of Tasmania. The house faced to the sea and many rabbits were found on the ground. And the owner Alan was a very kind and calm gentleman although my English was not perfect.

The property has been beautifully renovated. It is comfortable with lots of thoughtful touches. It holds interesting local history and combines this with modern living. Absolutely loved it. Great local restaurants with food recommendations from the hosts. Handy general store and garage close by.

We arrived with the friendly reception helping with speedy check in, to our surprised, a no extra charge upgrade to the King Studio Apartment. It has everything we need in the kitchen, ensuite, with a heater/air-conditional and even a washing machine / dryer!!! The Studio is spacious with a very nice view to Pirates Bay. The bistro dinner was also very well prepared and nice. Parking is just outside our room. It's also just a short walk to the Tessellated Pavement across the road. One thing that the reception has done extra and exceptionally well (without asking) - we are given 3 key-cards, the extra one to put in the power-socket all the time!! How thoughtful was THAT. I wish all hotels in the World will do that. We really appreciate that, especially as we need to keep the room warm.

So peaceful and scenic beaches nearby with a local gin...

So peaceful and scenic beaches nearby with a local gin tasting shack right by the beach only a few minutes drive away from our accomodation. It is the gateway to some amazing iconic locations such as the Devils Kitchen, Pirate Bay and of course, Port Arthur. The scenery is amazing from the sea views and beaches to the countryside vistas. Well worth the visit.

Scenery was fantastic.

Scenery was fantastic. The locals were very friendly, happy to talk and there appears to be a sense of 'community'. Would be an excellent spot to retire. A boat is a 'must-have' to explore and make full use of what the area has to offer. Pity there are not a few more sandy beaches.

Had a great time, accommodation was excellent convenience of a kitchen was a bonus with 2 little ones. The neighbourhood was very pretty. Shame we didn’t get to explore more as it rained the whole 3 days!

Great holiday property.

Great holiday property. Owners very easy to contact and helpful. Teenagers enjoyed the place and surrounding community. The shop at the turnoff stocks everything 😊the middle bedroom doesn’t have an outside window. An easy holiday home.
