Lovely king spa room. Set in beautiful grounds. It was out of town but close to Blue Lake and Umpherston Sinkhole if you have a car. The Barn Restaurant attached to the hotel was very good.

There was an attached small kitchenette with pots, pans, utensils and cutlery, plates. And a 4 chair dining table. There was a gas stove and oven. There was a door separating the kitchennete from the bedroom. The bedroom flooring was new and the place looked like it recently been painted. There was a large TV. Lots of warm blankets. Clean sheets. Very clean toilet despite the dated tiles and shower screens. Laundromat and games room and a fire pit outside with a BBQ area. It was value for money. Location was perfect, 2-3 mins to petrol station and McDonalds. Under 10 mins to Woolworth or city centre.

The room was big clean and comfortable however there was quite noise in the morning from trucks , the breakfast was very good with 50% discount. Very good locations

Everything about this accommodation exceeded our expectations, it is so beautifully appointed, well run with friendly and professional staff, easy access for all our luggage, we were able to drive close enough to the entrance and roll into the rooms. We were able to use the kitchen/fridge, again so well stocked. The bathrooms were pure luxury, linens, towels everything was fabulous. We also had dinner steps away at the Commodore, it was excellent, as was the Delgattie wine in the room. The place has the beautifully aged history, yet with all the modern technology and updates needed... we loved our stay! Thank you so much, its our favorite accommodation so far in NZ and Australia :)... Kim

An absolutely immaculate property and the most beautiful private accomodation I have ever stayed in. We were welcomed by our host on arrival who gave us a tour of the property (my wife saying she wanted to stay in the first bedroom, before changing her mind on seeing the second and again on seeing the third). Our host gave us a few instructions and recommended somewhere for our evening meal. Some fantastic sites just short car journeys away.
