Merimbula is a quiet seaside spot worth investigating. Make sure there is time for a walk along the boardwalk. The seafood at Wheelers - about 5 min drive from the centre is fabulous. Freshly shucked oysters and prawns with a glass of wine on the grass!!

Plenty to do or just do nothing .

Plenty to do or just do nothing . Go whale watching, hike in one of the many amazing nearby national parks . The wetland is fantastic and needs a couple of days to make sure you see everything . Lovely cafes . Oakland’s was a firm favourite and the deserts were so yum. The town is nice and everyone says Gooday!

I think Merimbula is a hidden gem.

I think Merimbula is a hidden gem. Why go to Noosa when you have Merimbula. We are not 'beach' people but loved the views and the walks on the sand. The scenery is to die for. The Drive in from Canberra and out towards Melbourne was filled with beauty. We were able to participate in our 'thing' which is Ballroom Dancing which is held fortnightly at the Saphire Club. All welcome.

The beautiful beaches and surrounds with plenty of convenient facilities for shopping and dining. We especially enjoyeda visitto the RSL! The service was always friendly and helpful, would be great if some of the cafes stayed open a bit longer. The driving around has certainly got busier especially with the caravans looking for parking.

We live Merimbula and have visited many times.

We live Merimbula and have visited many times. Great beaches. Whale watching is amazing (June to October). Surrounding bush and national parks are perfect for hiking. A couple of great golf courses. Lots of lovely restaurants for some good food and wine. Close to Pambula, Pambula Beach and Tathra which are all lovely places to visit.

Nice quiet town walking distance to every thing. Big Woolworth and Aldi for groceries Lots of small boutiques Lovely board walk with coffee shop at the end. Two big clubs. Good for fishing. Short drive to Pambula and Tura Beach and Bega and Eden. Spent 10 days in Merimbula and was busy exploring every day.

The Beds were amazing my room was a king and the best, even compared to 5 Star Hotels. Decor was extra gorgeous. Beautiful array of natural Tea's. Plenty of extras, coffee machine. Amazing outdoor spaces, beautiful Pool, pool towels in room and amazing lawn areas with Chairs, tables, Heaps of sun loungers and lounges suites, Tennis court. All with the best view over Merimbula. Fabulous Hotel lounge & Decor with dining tables and balcony & bar to relax with the view. Like a mini resort. Would definitely be back.

Crown Apartments Merimbula are AMAZING. The location is central so everything is a 5 min walk, but also peaceful (exc. the many many instruments from the jazz festival). The view was perfect and the apartments had everything we needed. Normally you’d pay extra at other accommodations for things like a spa or balcony view, however these were both part of it! The heater was on for us when we arrived, so that was a nice touch. Great value for money, we will definitely be back again 🫶🏼

Had the best view of the beach and whales passing by. The dolphins were great too. Kangaroos and birds were a bonus. The whale watch tour was fantastic which is what brought us to Merimbula. Highly recommend this accommodation. Perfect for 5 adults or a family of 5

What a fantastic find South Seas is. I have stayed in a few places in Merimbula but this is now my favourite. The rooms are great and the location could not be better. I slept 8 hours straight which I never do. Super comfy bed. Great value for money.
