A wonderful place full of wildlife. Singing birds. We were happy to see lyrebird and even to take a good photo. We have ordered breakfast. The food was great. The room was was nice with comfy bed. The host was extremely helpful and friendly.

As keen photographers we were disappointed at what Marlo...

As keen photographers we were disappointed at what Marlo itself had to offer. There was only a fishing jetty on the river and not much else. Only a couple of shops. The pub was good though. About 10 - 15kms out of town is the Conran Coast with the main feature, Salmon Rocks worth a visit. Mot Beach was also lovely and if you walk to the right, you can see where the Snowy River enters the sea (at a distance) so that was pretty special. We didn't do the coast walk but I think that would be nice.

Marlo is beautiful and you have the River, beaches and...

Marlo is beautiful and you have the River, beaches and Rainforest nearby . In July it is the off season so it is peaceful, with mild weather and not busy . In summer I think it would be ghastly !

We could have stayed longer, the view from the room was...

We could have stayed longer, the view from the room was lovely and you could hear the ocean from the balcony. Parking was good outside our room. We could enter our room from either the hotel or the balcony. our meals were absolutely fantastic. The staff were friendly and polite. We will be going back to do some more exploring around Marlo & beyond.

I went there for my Sons wedding. Was absolutely wonderful.

I went there for my Sons wedding. Was absolutely wonderful. The function was at the Marlo hotel. Just one word for that Memorable!! Everyone had a great time. Was in November, so before the peak time and the weather gods hahah were smiling, for the whole time we were there 😄

Marlo hotel is fantastic with delicious meals and for drinks...

Marlo hotel is fantastic with delicious meals and for drinks on the wide balcony with superb sunsets and views over the Snowy River. Two cafes with great coffee. Friendly people. Quiet and surrounded by nature - wonderful! Interesting metal sculptures of wildlife - eagle, seal, pelican etc. Perfect for walking and bike riding - lots of tracks and paths through forests and along the beach - well signposted. Loved the littoral rainforest, banksia forest and Frenches Narrows Walk. Bird lovers paradise. No crowds.

Marlo, where the mighty Snowy River meets the ocean, is just...

Marlo, where the mighty Snowy River meets the ocean, is just beautiful. Quiet and untouched, an absolute hidden gem. Lots of stunning walks and beautiful wildlife. And the food at the pub is AMAZING! Would highly recommend.
